Will Xur ever sell Gjallarhorn?
I need the gjallarhorn and was wondering

No, he never will, because the hope for it is one of the main carrots on the stick, why people keep playing this boring and repetitive game.

The only way to get one is if Bungie likes you, they hate me so I'll never get one, chances you did something to earn their hate too if you still don't have one.

1 ReplyI want the gally :(. Why do most of ya think that everyone is gonna be using the gally all the time? You probably see them getting it level up but when they are done with that then they are just gonna be using it on the bosses. I mostly use the IB and the hunger of crota on anything. Right now I'm just waiting to get that gally drop n level it up n just put it in my vault till I do hard crota.

Only the weak get rewarded Ghorn. XD I have never had one or needed one...... Buuuut....... Doesn't mean I don't want one =3 Just do Crota raid or VoG, a Hunger or H Vengeance will suffice (which I have none of those launchers T-T)

6 RepliesI just got it Gjallarhorn and understand now why they don't want to put it in Xur's inventory, it would simply be too easy to finish activities and people would get their gear faster thus shortening the life span of the game. Gjallarhorn seems to be meant as a endgame trophy gun that only the few can have. Otherwise it will be Rendered useless just like vex. Considering how many hours I put in just to get my first Ghorn I'd prefer that it wasn't.

The alternative : Hunger of crota is perfect and its not exotic so no need to switch all time .And sure we all want the ghorn but for what i see u have to have a golden dick mark next your name in the database to get it and to get all , cause i play since start and not have it still like many other weapons it takes way longer for me then my team mates get it , was same with VOG is same with Crota ... but i already gave up on this, loot system sucks and i have the hunger of crota so its a damn good alternative. Like i said i not complain just wanted to make clear people have to deal with what they get if u not get it yet you will proberly never get it aswell .. a few more months and time for "the devision" becasue that loot system i already see sooooo many leave to other games like "dying light" and i know when "Tom Clancy's The Division "will be there im sure another bunch of players will leave... cause a game of 500 mil with a loot system of Fisher Price is not really what we waiting for... Bungie made its game and breaks its own game... anyway have fun all !

I hope he never does now. I just got mine with wolfpack on tuesday. It needs to be scarce to even everything out. Ice breaker helped when xur sold it. But if ghorn was ever sold, the game would be all together too easy, one or two ghorns per group is enough. Hunger of crota is damn near just as good. Just the clusters dont track

Pretty sure Gally is programmed to have like a 0.00001 chance of dropping from Xur. Compared to Dragon's Breath, or NLB, which probably have a 5% chance. Bungie isn't lying if they say it's RNG.

Well with this new update, and nerf to every weapon along with handcannons because deej got beat up by the last word in PVE, along with bungie wanting it's community to realize the no land beyond is the best weapon for us. Gjallarhorn will never be SOLD.
