I miss that one, where people would help each other in patrol, kind words on the forum, speculation and theories over story, lore, mechanics...where did you all go?
I'm on Xbox 360 and will gladly help if people send me a message
Edit 1:
If you played alpha or beta, what were your favorite parts or memories?
Edit 2: who used the loot cave, or remembers it?
-
Where still here don't worry
-
Also........GOLDEN GUN WAS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD. Not this pea shooter we have now.
-
It was fun to go around the forgotten shore/grottos to where the shrieker and other hive were to see if you could survive past them because they were all question marks
-
Warlock since the beta. That was the best.
-
Right here man. So many good beta memories...
-
I played the Alpha and Beta. My favorite parts were when you'd encounter another player on Patrol, you'd usually help each other out instead of ignoring each other. That and using the Interceptor in the Crucible.
-
Favorite part of the beta was my friend and I seeing the fallen walker for the first time. We thought it was the boss because we kept dying soooooooo much on him xD Ahhh great times lol
-
I know exactly how you feel bro. I'm on 360 as well.
-
I miss when ranking up your crucible or vanguard gave you engrams instead of stupid commendations and bits of crappy armour!
-
Best moment in the beta were the last minutes when everybody in the tower just sat on the fence and looked to the city. Total harmony
-
I remember the beta having certain sets of blue armour that drop on the strike and I thought that when the game would release the higher level strikes would have unique purple sets but no

Edited by bblue arc: 2/4/2015 8:10:43 AMHellloooo in from the beta Man I remember just playing the Devils lair strike over and over, I loved that strike! And the loot cave, that sweet cave helped me to level my hunter up very quick
-
Good PvP times during the beta
-
I've been here since beta, I plan to be here till the end and its already been a hell of a journey.
-
Edited by Froboy: 2/4/2015 7:28:56 AMI think you're referring to the in-development community. Damn I miss those days.
-
Beta? Where are all the ALPHA testers?
-
Edited by atpbx1: 2/4/2015 7:22:28 AMI still have the emblem of the founders or whatever it's called. I would equip it more often but it just looks pants. Everything was just......better back then, seems they nerfed all the good stuff and ignored all the bad stuff. In short crippled spawn and engram drop rates, hamstrung weapons, cut cryptard rep and nerfed reward packages. Meanwhile ignoring raid bugs, ammo bugs, equipment bugs, afk players, load times, vault space, nightfall rewards etc etc etc etc.
-
I played Beta and got to level 8. I remember when those common guns were beast and the greens. Good times. The Loot cave...I played who gets the legendary engram each time. I usually won but most engram's turned blue.
-
still here though i had to switch from xbone to ps4 after my apartment was broken into. im just glad they didnt let my cat out. If i lost her i woulda just broke down.
-
Never left. You just have to look for us under mountains of comments and complaints lol. Best thing about Beta? Cyndonia vs Shingens in Cruicible with no Connection Bars and NO LAG. Crucible was SO FUN in Alpha/Beta. First Light was ALWAYS picked somehow, glad they fixed that.
-
Edited by SavanThe7: 2/4/2015 7:06:23 AMI'm right here lols. Alpha and Beta. Edit: I honestly wish I could still get the experience of running into "???" enemies with my 31. I had so much fun for hours at Skywatch as I rocked my badass Iron Banner hunter cloak while farming my favorite chest run location and having the thrill of risking it past the orge or shoving off the knight.
-
Best moment: I was in the beta with my two other friends. We finally got that Hallowed Knight to go off the edge. Other best moment would be the three of us beating The Devil's Lair on hard.
-
I played the beta and my most memorable moment was when me and my friends went down the stairs in the steppes to the hallowed knight and acolytes and got completely destroyed in a single hit
-
The beta community startles easily, but they'll be back and in greater numbers.
-
I'm still here
-
Still here, still having fun. Started a Hunter to give myself something else to do, completed 1 raid and she's further ahead of my Warlock in the race to 32 almost immediately :)
