Where did the beta community go?
I miss that one, where people would help each other in patrol, kind words on the forum, speculation and theories over story, lore, mechanics...where did you all go?
I'm on Xbox 360 and will gladly help if people send me a message

1 ReplyBeen around since alpha, along with my wife. We are still here, we just don't post often because the community has become fairly toxic when it went live. That's what happens when you give any random person the ability to just jump in and say whatever they want with the anonymity of the internet. Wish we could put filters on our threads in regards to start time and experience.

We're still here. It's just that Destiny changed the game. There really is no reason to patrol anymore. They eliminated the need to farm materials, and that's why most people would patrol. Everything else is still here on the forums...

I never loot caved but my fondest memory from beta was the pvp on venus. Its the only pvp stage I'm great at lol.

10 RepliesI miss the good old days :( grinding loot cave until you got to level 20, so many unknown exotics and legendary stuff to get.. people being so helpful when you just couldn't get past that one hard level.. now it's full of people being assholes/trolling

PS4 Alpha Beta here. Loved when they opened the moon for a few hours. My buddy and I explored the emptiness for quite some time. If only I had known then how many times the game would force me to revisit those exact same locations over and over and over and over.....

We're mostly still here man… I think most of us are still playing with others from the Beta. I know that maybe only a half dozen of the 40ish people that play Destiny on my friends list weren't around for Beta.

My favorite thing about the beta was being shot across the map on cosmodrome at random moments. Lol

Been around since the beta on 360 then moved on to ps4, my favorite memory was my first heroic strike, void burn Sepiks.. man did I die a lot. My favorite beta memory was staying up until late in the night to play the Iron Banner and getting Timur's Lash

Played in beta, favorite memory was getting level 9 and 10 armor, cause it was so close but so far.
