I miss that one, where people would help each other in patrol, kind words on the forum, speculation and theories over story, lore, mechanics...where did you all go?
I'm on Xbox 360 and will gladly help if people send me a message
Edit 1:
If you played alpha or beta, what were your favorite parts or memories?
Edit 2: who used the loot cave, or remembers it?

They went home for the night. They'll be back in the morning. Don't forget to do your homework before you go to bed! I'm proud of you sport!
-
Their would always be people climbing the tree in the tower

Loved the beta.. Best memory was on the earth patrol just near the spawn there is a building which I thought to my self bet I can find loot down there..... Looking around in the pitch black find cool things and a chest until I heard the noise.... Suddenly out of a doorway 3 hive elites spawn. Heart racing sweat on my hands i run in shooting a clip from my hand cannon into the Knights face I quick lob a grenade into his just and jump backwards to miss the firey explosion thatwith in gulfs him.... I quickly turn and see the two alocites aiming at me with that I scream For The Horde.... Soon realising this is the wrong game I pop my golden gun and with the fire of hell it's self I let rip each firey shot whizzing into the hive and ending in an explosion that almost destroyed the world.......... The smoke clears nothing is left in cheer and scream victory for the light and then my hopes fade...my cheers fall short as all 3 hive move out of the cover... There health not even dented I quickly check my hand cannon... Out of ammo I look suddenly and my hope is rekindled .... A tall slender female titan is standing there looking at me.... With a smile she waves and steps back....All I here is a roar from the hive and a blinding light fills my vision....

Alpha and beta here. Never loot caved. I'm still down to help people. On PS4.
-
My favourite moment was when you could walk around and look at all the legendary gear. And I used the loot cave alot
-
I liked how everything was new and there were impossible enemies in the BETA. Now I've seen and finished nearly everything.
-
Located beta, and all I can remember is the devils lair strike taking four hours at least, and you running out of ammo in like five seconds
-
I remember the patrol and doing the same missions again and again
-
Considering the level of immaturity and stupidity the launch has grouped up together... I just keep hoping that they all die off somewhere else than here.
-
The community turned shit just like the game when it was released.
-
Destiny happened. When the game came out we realized just how awful the game was, became jaded, and now have nothing nice to say.
-
Probably dead and gone, this isn't what we envisioned, this is not the destiny we fell in love with.
-
Trying to get past the level 20s in the beta
-
I miss the smooth fireteam changing. Find a random, join fireteam with no loading screen. Now it's slowed down and kicks to orbit before letting you join even if you are right next to them

Edited by Twisted Ego: 2/4/2015 3:56:25 PMStill here just never really been active. Hoping to change that mostly but I'm mostly only on here when away from my console or computer. As for favorite memory. Iron Banner xD Loot cave... Lol my titan was leveled on it. I wanted to level my titan and the fiancé wanted to farm legendaries. Worked out for us playing together.
-
Regrettably, still here. 5 more weeks til something else comes along to get me the -blam!- outta here.
-
They left when they got the game and realized that bungie lies.
-
Right Herr I played the beta I'm still here.
-
RIP, the good interceptor.
-
Hello? Is it me you're looking for?
-
Back on the beta for the 360 I balyed it exclusively with a friend and we played every day it was up and at the moment the servers were shut down we had a blast and the vest moments were when we finally beat sepiks prime and the limited time they let us go on the moon. And the after math letting our imagination run wild thinking about when the game comes out and how epic it will be. Ultimately being disappointed by the lack of content but I still had fun with the game. The RNG is addictive knowing that anytime you do anything that one kill can drop a legendary and it can turn into that ghorn you have been looking for. The sound and feel you get from getting any exotic is just an amazing feeling. Also the smoothness of the overall game play is what keeps me playing. NY expectations were a little too high for the game but I am happy I got it and I still play it( except crotas end hard) I feel until they can patch the major bugs in it I will take a break from it.
-
Beta player here! After a month the game came out I took a break from it and now I am on the one and starting to love it again.
-
Still here. Check out my emblem.

I think your recollection is a little bit of staring through some rose tinted glasses. Don't you remember the constant console war flame threads, the cod kiddies spewing doom and gloom. The constant negative speculation of how big the game was/was going to be. I remember it being not so diff from now
-
Was good times... but it will never be the same as it once was. Favorite time was VoG day 1...
-
Alpha & Beta & still here... Fond Memory: In Beta when the moon mission opened up for a day...that was cool...And I guess I miss the mystery that just the glimpses that Alpha and Beta offered in terms of what this game was to become... The loot cave - ah the memories...I truly think that was actually a really awesome community sort of event really - in fact, I wish Bungie would be cool and do something like "Loot Cave Weekend!!" - y'know, just open it up for a weekend - let me people have a blast...it was pretty funny watching the slew of people lining up like a -blam!-ing firing squad....
