I've met many people I might never see in real life and we've all played many hours together as the hours add up you begin to know that person and I consider some of them good quality friends. Who else feels that way?
Edit: so I guess people feel the same; that's pretty cool I think.

When I was on 360, I actually knew at least half of the people on my friends list. Now I know like 3, but I have people I play with regularly that I consider to be actual friends.
-
Is it sad I have more online friends than real life friends? Lol
-
Same. After playing and talking daily with some of these people they become very good friends. Especially with teamwork, you don't really do a lot of things in real life with your friends that involve teamwork. It's a thing that brings people closer if not forces people to become closer.
-
I know I do.
-
I do. I know half of them irl and the other 3 live near me. Like 1 hour away. We hope to all meet up one day soon.
-
Some people I have played with since cod 4 came out
-
Some people in my list a straight up budz that get shit done Others...havent gotten around to removing them
-
The guys I play with live in New York, I live in Arkansas yet I drove up there and we hung out for the weekend. Definitely a group of guys I consider friends and trust them more than some of the people I know in my town who I thought were friends.
-
The people I game with all live within 30 min of me. We have met up and gone drinking. I would consider them good friends.
-
I have definitely made some new friends and gotten to know a couple really well. I used to game solo, and still like to chill like that, but Destiny gave me a push me to find some buddies on-line. The release of Borderlands for Next Gen means I can now enjoy a lot of stuff I just skipped because BL2 online with randies was such a tedious affair.
-
I wouldn't say good friends, but guys/gals I have no doubt when I call them in or when they call me in for help they/I don't say. "Oh sorry I've already done that this week." We help each other regardless unless of course timing just doesn't mesh.
-
They are my friends. The game didn't connect us though; chatting on psn is what did that.
-
Got an Aussie I regularly play with nightly. Apart from all the shit we throw at each other i'd say we have a blast.
-
I do. They guys I play with are great guys id hang with them irl if they lived close.
-
My son has met 2 or 3 people through random matches that he now regularly raids with etc over the months they have become good friends and Skype each other. Most live pretty close by so I presume there is some geography involved in matchmaking. I'd always assumed it was totally random but I'm ignorant when it comes to online gaming.
-
We haven't exchanged facebook friend requests so we haven't evolved that far in our online friendships lol...

I'm the same man, finally settled into a good group of guardians who play daily and we work great as a team. That in itself makes it much easier for us to get along and enjoy ourselves whilst teamed up
