Crux of crota question?
Is it just me or is the drop rate so low on the crux?
We have done the hard raid with the same team 3 weeks in a row on three different characters , not one of us has the crux so that means that we have had 54 chances at the crux dropping and it hasn't dropped
1 drop chance a week on 3 characters is 3 chances, times that by 6 people is 18 chances at the crux a week, times that by the amount of weeks hard mode has been out (3 weeks) is 54
54 drops zero crux
Can someone comment on there drop chances or something please give me some faith
Edit: thanks for all the replies, it seems the crux is dropping quite commonly, with some people even saying they have it 2-3 times already, a lot of people have said if it drops it will drop for more than just one person! Gratz to everyone who has it already :) guess our team is just really unlucky atm
Edit 2: FINALLY We have seen the crux drop we got one this week so that's a 72/1 chance for us so far YAY....
EDIT 3: the crux is MINE! Just dropped on my second run through this week, our group was just super unlucky the crux is dropping at least once every week now!

Haven't got the Crux either. Question, does the drop rate increase if we skip Normal Mode altogether?

got it second week of hard someone else got it too in my team i dont even have the husk seen 2 ppl get it at once three times now

1 ReplyI got it third completion. To go along with what folks are saying... I did normal mode first. Then a few days later hard mode on the same character. Hard mode wasn't a full clear. I had glowhoo and cryptographic in my inventory. I also had Eidelon Ally in my inventory. It was not fully levelled. I saw a crux drop my second run, but not my first run.

First week didn't count as glowhoo had a 100% drop rate over the crux. So you guys are 0-36. Maybe that helps soften the blow.

2 RepliesThis is my theory on how i got 2 on Raid night. I had a Husk of the Pit (Eidolon Ally on 1 character) and both raid shaders on each character. None were equipped btw. Having these on your character increases your chances. That's my theory anyway. Or maybe I just got lucky....

1 ReplyDespite what everyone says, there is no specific requirement to get the crux. Bungie wanted to make the gun you get for beating a raid on hard actually RARE, not like the Mythoclast where half the community already has it. Everyone just got all upset and confused because they didn't get it so they just started making speculations of prerequisites that must be met in order to obtain this piece of shit.

9 RepliesYou obtain it after defeating Crota 4 times or more. Also, your math is irrelevant to getting the crux since their is a minimum amount of times defeating Crota to get it
