It's not about being accurate it's about the enemies just moving all the damn time. Crota doesn't sit still he likes to move around a lot making it hard for a non tracking rocket to hit him. I guess you can shoot his feet I don't know how effective that is but whatever I guess.

anticipate his move.

or hit him with it....that works too ya know. Moving is only an issue with smaller targets like ur regular minions or ones that telaport like Sepiks or Minotaurs I think one of the only exceptions would be a Swordbearer

Edited by AyyLmao: 2/3/2015 4:26:50 AMLike I said it's harder to hit moving enemies. When Crota is in the middle he'll strafe left or right a lot.

honestly i do see ur point. But he has never seemed to b an issue to hit regardless of what i'm using. Tracking is a nice crutch and has advantages but it isnt strictly necessary
-
Well it is when you're doing hard mode I'll tell you that. You can call it a crutch all you want but when you're able to put enough damage on an enemy it'll help. There's always that chance to miss a rocket without tracking even if your some pro at shooting.

Wouldnt know bout the HM bit, dont wanna be the one to hold people down so im not trying until i am 32. Late to that due to not wanting to get the dlc since i didnt think it was worth it. But ur essentially justifying the tracking on one instance. Clearly you shouldnt be using DB over Ghorn against Crota (unless ur looking to cheese apparently) But tracking is not essential in most instances
