Destiny doesn't even have private matches or lobbies. That's a joke in itself. Even if you wanted to host a tourney of top 6s teams or rumble players you couldn't even do it.

I see where you're coming from. For me though I've played all that stuff. I'm old or something my bad : )

It's not all sniping but games like cod, battlefield, counter strike, halo etc all have a competitive following that destiny lacks. Strategies like this would make any competitive atmosphere a joke.

ok. those guys seemed pretty competitive to me though. Would rather be the boss that countered their strategy somehow than play something more fair but maybe thats just me : )

Oh they for sure were. I mean more of something than oh hey I got a lot of kills. It all has so little meaning in destiny. This game lacks the fabric of a competitive shooter (leaderboards, private matches, rank system, ladders). It's disappointing cause I do enjoy crucible but I know it could be so much more. Was merely stating that a strategy like this would render a top 6v6 game as a joke.

I see that angle. I guess to sum up my take on this, I would put the word "traditional" before all the times you say pvp. I feel like if I said everything after doom 1 deathmatch on a 28.8 phone modem was unbalanced, broken and illegitimate, it's kind of an equivalent statement to yours. Both are based on taste and opinion. To put it another way, MLG is the first MLG. Maybe the circuit that destiny would fit into doesnt yet exist. Really though I'm just old and have heard all this before. It's possible I am an irrelevant relic : )
