I personally love the FwC. Screw everything else.
Edit: it seems the DO fan boys are mostly in it for the shaders....
Edit: DO is leading the pack. Where's my FwC comrades?
Edit: over 100 comments, keep it up guys!

FWC. Vanguard is trying to come up with an acceptable tactic for countering the enemy, but hasn't done a damn thing yet. Crucible figures it's best to just play hunger games instead of gearing up for battle. New Monarchy thinks hiding behind an already demolished government is going to solve all its problems. Dead Orbit feels it's just best to run away into the far reaches of space and hope no one finds them. The Future War Cult is the only one who believes that war, while tragic and will have many casualties, it's inevitable & guardians should prepare to fight rather than be oblivious to the darkness that surrounds them. Simply put, they are warriors and the others are either cowards or trying to ignore the fact that chaos is knocking at their doorstep. FWC is the only way to go haha
-
Future War Cult. The only way to rid ourselves of the Darkness is to mercilessly eradicate it. We'll worry about the details later.
-
FWC. Because they seek peace through any means necessary....and that means the inevitably of war. A faction always ready for war will be the only ones alive when the shit inevitably hits the fan
-
NM because better guns
-
NM just because I like the red and white colorway.
-
New monarchy: only vendor with a high impact auto rifle
-
New monarchy and for the weapons as they are all good and just hoping to hit some perfect rolls with them
-
New monarchy because vanquisher viii
-
Depends. Armor I would say vanguard. Weapons I would say crucible. Specific factions I would say NM. Dead orbit a close second.
-
New monarchy The weapons wreck everything

Edited by Oodlemeister: 2/4/2015 3:37:00 AMDead Orbit. I like one of their emblems and their shaders
-
Dead Orbit. New Monarchy is too tied down by politics, and FWC... We have no idea what their end game is. Dead Orbit is basically the contingency plan that nobody wants to admit we desperately need. Other than that, Vanguard all the way. Cayde is just the greatest.
-
osiris i was playing skirmish on mercury and i randomly found "the trial of osiris" it looks like a letter and i went to the speaker and i could choose the osiris vendor
jk
-
New Monarchy. They have the best guns. Would like a DO shader though. I'm levelling them all up and so far FWC is the least impressive one.
-
DO Shaders
-
FWC 4 Life. Sigil of Deviance + Babylon 9191 shader = amazing
-
None? They're all pretty worthless. "Lemme grind all the rep for a SHADER! Oooooh..."
-
Dead Orbit because of the shaders xD I also want to get full DO gear to use in the cruicible
-
DO shaders...you guessed right lol Other than that the best one is Eris Moorn
said no one ever
-
dead orbit shaders are beast, but i started with new monarchy and those shaders are just as sexy looking.

Edited by Wink: 2/3/2015 11:53:53 PMI was a fan of Dead Orbit before shaders were a thing, I liked Dead Orbit as soon as I hit level 20 because I wanted a legendary cloak. I'd have to say that Vanguard is my favorite since I can use any class armour I want. Edit: Never knew all the lore surrounding the visions of the factions, might have to get reading.
-
Voted vanguard but really want the dead orbit shaders.
-
Fwc , however dead orbit looks appealing
-
FWC because WAR! WAR! WAR!
-
Of the three factions, Dead Orbit, followed somewhat by New Monarchy, and not at all by Future War Cult. Dead Orbit's goal is to colonize the cosmos, abandoning Earth to do it. Many hear this and think of them as traitors. But what obligation do they have to Earth and the Traveler? Why stick around with a giant magnet for the Darkness? Any true fan of Bungie here will remember the name Preston J. Cole. He turned his back on an Earth with an uncertain future in the Halo universe to live on his own world with the few he brought with him. However, he gave that Earth more than it could have ever given him. The story of Halo would have played out much more unfortunately if it weren't for him. Dead Orbit seeks to safeguard humanity, just as Cole did both with the Cole Protocol and in the same fashion as Dead Orbit. It's entirely possible that everyone in the future of the Destiny universe will owe their births to Dead Orbit. Their cause is a righteous one. That said, where the -blam!- is my Revenant shader, you slimy bastards? Hell, I'd be satisfied with ANY of the shaders or the ship? Rank 26 and all you give me are weapons that are outshines by many of my others??? Screw you, Arach Jalaal, I'm not going I be a part of the Exodus unless you give me my Revenant shader!!! Per Audacia Ad Astra New Monarchy has yet another noble cause. They wish to usher in another Golden Age for humanity. They observe the Speaker and the Vanguard, and think it is their privilege to decide who will govern the last city, be one of them or even themselves if necessary. Arrogant. Noble, but pretentious and arrogant. +1 point for the Egyptian theme. I would consider earning reputation with them if they had a shader named for Atem, the King of Games. Future War Cult is riddled with those itching to destroy for no good reason. They believe in a coming war for no particular reason. My guess is that if one does not come, they will attempt to create it. Fools serve the Future War Cult. Also, ugliest shaders and class items by far. It should be clear to you now, Guardians. Serve the Dead Orbit. Not for the Exodus, but in case we will need an Exodus.

Dead Orbit shaders are top-notch, the ship is decent, the weapons are strong and the philosophy is really cool.
