I have thunderlord and yes I have use it against Crota. No it is not efficient against him. Any purple RL is superior to any machine gun against Crota. DB is a great RL regardles of what other people say. Sure it doesnt have a tracking system, but its better than any legendary rocket launcher and the solar flare effect does help prevent his shield regen.
