SOE leaves Sony.
They are now Daybreak Game Company, and are excited about making games for the PS4, Xbox One, and to continue their lineup of PC games.
I'm not trying to bag on Sony, they made a great system. But we all know that their financial situation as an entire corporation is pretty dire. Makes you wonder how bad it really is at Sony if their Playstation Division would even entertain the idea of selling off SOE, much less actually go through with it as they have.
It will definitely be interesting to see what they bring to the other platforms though.
Thoughts?

YES always wanted to try planetside
-
Not surprised Sony sold them, they probably got a lot of money from selling them.

Planetside 2 on Xbox One... I can die happy now
-
Bring us Planetside 2!

Stop looking at Sony as a singular entity because it's really not. Sony really is a hodgepodge of autonomous corporations. So why would Sony Computer Entertainment sell SOE? Probably because the kind of games SOE makes don't make sense for being console exclusives. SOE's future is mass market F2P games that need a considerably large install base to thrive.

Yes!! planetside 2 here I come

Awesome. Can't wait to get my hands on DC online and planetside 2.

Wish I saw this before I posted my topic last night lmao, I wouldn't have posted mine. I didn't see any posts about it when I did my search. I have to chuckle because without even knowing this post existed, we both ended them with "Thoughts?"

Honestly the whole console exclusive stuff needs to die out like the dinosaur

That's interesting. I wonder why
