Honestly dude I only ever use the RL that has proximity det (I don't have one with tracking, sadly). The way I see it, it's part of the game, and I really hate wiping on Crota! My advice, though, is to aim for center mass... Headshots are too risky, especially at that distance. I'd rather hit slightly than miss altogether! And yeah, good policy for the straight-shit RLs is to aim at the feet... Especially in crucible. If Crota, I only ever jump if I'm in a bubble.
