It's not. This is exactly what a potential battle against 2 very good teams would like like. Nova bombs and golden guns popping bubbles while strikers and blade dancers get in to some cqc and all the whole defender titans spawning bubbles.
Is this match 1 sided? Absolutely but because thier opponents are completely unprepared, not working together, not feeding each other orbs, they just can't hang.
So mad props to the guys that figured this out. Maybe, just maybe there will be some teamwork going on now in pvp a bit. When I see an enemy super I always super if I can use mine to shut theirs down.
If you think this is cheating or an exploit you are everything that is wrong with this community and probably suck or have no friends to do this with.
I cant wait to do this and to hopefully run into it so I can record some epic super battles.

Literally more than a dozen counters to this strat are listed below by random forumers. This is not hard to beat and takes 2 coordinated supers. Keeping it down takes more teamwork and without the lead this strat is useless. Get gud kids.

Only way to nerf this is to nerf the titan in pvp. Let's not go there.

Apparently sunsingers feel left out of this strategy. If it helps create balance and define job roles simply let the sunsinger be the orb spawner and change the titan perk to generate orbs from kills inside the bubble vs just taking damage from the bubble.

If you all think this is amazing you should watch their teams' raids or check him out on twitch sometime. It all just goes to show what can be accomplished if you stick with a single fireteam group and play often together.

Kudos to them on a great team strategy. And this is why we need a game mode in crucible that is without supers and HUD. Kinda like a hardcore mode. Would take strategies like this out of the match. Its great to see a team exploit the weekness of this games design. The designers should be hanging there heads over this one.

It's called teamwork, when iron banner was on, I had a team of 6 and because we communicated, we destroyed other teams. Crucible, raids, work better when your in teams, and work better when you are communicating.

I wonder if it was against another fireteam of 6? Anyways if they are facing randoms then they already at the disadvantage with comunication and what not. I'm sure with the right team that strategy can be broken up and used against them in other tatics. But again there isnt a competive setting in pvp to validate how op this would be imo if it were set as a competitive gaming enviroment for pvp.

Hopefully we'll see less supers in PvP. The players in the clip already suggested the change to make PvP better - less super from orbs. However It isn't cheating, it's simply taking advantage of class mechanics and poor game design on bungie's part. PvP is Fundamentally broken in its design, it will take a big overhaul to make crucible decent.

I've only ever seen one team other than mine doing this, it's literally retarded how well three defender titans with two void walkers can do on some maps. With the way we do it only FoH and nova bomb can counter it.

5 RepliesWhile you certainly have to give that team full credit for the amazing teamwork and class synergy that enabled them to accomplish such a one-sided victory, this will get nerfed/patched, or at least it should. Unfortunately, it's simply not sustainable for the current state of PvP in this game and would negatively impact the player experience for far more players than it would be enjoyed by those who are playing at that level. You cannot justify something in PvP for the 5% of the player base that's capable of it to the detriment of the other 95% without have some degree of separation. There is no ladder system that forces the truly amazing teams to move up and play against other equally skilled teams, and most players who PvP in this game are merely jumping into queue with 5 other random players and will never have any hope of competing with a team like this one.

It's not cheating, it's an exploit. Think about all the shit One and Done got for letting themselves die after killing Ir Yut in the first Crota hard mode run. And that was just to save 1 minute on a record time by 10 min. If that's an exploit, this is a HUGE one.

Yeah but if this becomes a trend, there's no point in bothering with the Crucible. It's impressive but not respectable really. Kills from supers really aren't about skill either. Good for them, but it's really not a good thing that this could be done. It just gives more incentive to either quit or avoid the Crucible til HOW.

Good lord. I would hate to be on the receiving end of that. I can't get on with any clanmates for this kind of PvP action so this isn't happening with randoms.
