Not my video, https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=b13vuS7xrlo its being posted everywhere. As if this is cheating.
It's not. This is exactly what a potential battle against 2 very good teams would like like. Nova bombs and golden guns popping bubbles while strikers and blade dancers get in to some cqc and all the whole defender titans spawning bubbles.
Is this match 1 sided? Absolutely but because thier opponents are completely unprepared, not working together, not feeding each other orbs, they just can't hang.
So mad props to the guys that figured this out. Maybe, just maybe there will be some teamwork going on now in pvp a bit. When I see an enemy super I always super if I can use mine to shut theirs down.
If you think this is cheating or an exploit you are everything that is wrong with this community and probably suck or have no friends to do this with.
I cant wait to do this and to hopefully run into it so I can record some epic super battles.
Edit**
Deej is "looking into this" and if you agree that this should at least ride out to see how it's used in the future, at least for a short time, bump this thread.
Edit 2**
If you think this is cheating all I can say is listen to the first 20 seconds of this video https://m.youtube.com/?#/watch?v=urq9Lef_3T4
Edit 3**
Literally more than a dozen counters to this strat are listed below by random forumers. This is not hard to beat and takes 2 coordinated supers. Keeping it down takes more teamwork and without the lead this strat is useless. Get gud kids.
Edit 4**
Only way to nerf this is to nerf the titan in pvp. Let's not go there.
Edit5**
Apparently sunsingers feel left out of this strategy. If it helps create balance and define job roles simply let the sunsinger be the orb spawner and change the titan perk to generate orbs from kills inside the bubble vs just taking damage from the bubble.
Credit to whoever gave me that idea I'll find your name in a bit or pvt message me my bad
Edit**6
I heard they found a change, can anyone confirm ?

Such a cheap tactic. Clearly something Bungie did not intended it to be.
-
Its a fantastic legitimate strategy, the problem is that its so effective it just highlights certain questionable mechanics in the game. Orbs of light for instance and whatever orbs you create are also available for the 5 other players around you, or showing how Control is a very lackluster objective gametype. I mean think about Control as a gametype. You could take the territories or you could just keep getting kills as if it was clash. That pretty much what these guys did, and since the only way to progress in the objective gametype is to get kills, taking over the territories didn't mean a damn thing if they couldn't kill the opposing team. Their strategy wasn't a problem, the problem is control as gametype and possibly the availability of orbs of light.

This is not teamwork lmao If bungie does not patch this then there will be no more pvp.. Just players leaving the game left and right
-
Awesome
-
This is an exploit which I fully expect bungie to patch. Not teamwork by any stretch of the imagination. Truly pathetic.
-
#bkCantHang get it trending
-
This is beautiful. Would hate to be on the other side of this fight, but I don't see it as a reason to "patch/ban/nerf".
-
Cue the rage quit! Haha I would probably break a controller
-
Good strategy. It's just painful to watch how that person was so garbage at using fist of havoc.
-
Even the guys in the video doing it said the game is broke and needs to be fixed. Wake up. It's obviously something that was overlooked.
-
Again proof titans don't belong in PvP. They're annoying

Edited by domesticbear554: 2/3/2015 7:48:45 AMThis shouldn't be patched, there's ways to beat it edit : I msged deej on Twitter so everyone should do the same to show our support of a neat , non cheating mechanic within the game !

This is team strategy in PvP at its best in this game. For all the people saying they cheated, and had unlimited supers, you suck and need to learn how to play better. For the people that appreciate this, kudos to you for recognizing that they did nothing wrong, and figured out how to dominate in the crucible. I just hope I am never playing against them.
-
Cool teamwork and discipline. It would be much harder to pull off if the other team wasn't coming at you piecemeal. If both teams tried this they would end up sitting 20 meters apart and supering each other until the cows came home. Still, great teamwork.

Edited by shadowtoxin1225: 2/3/2015 2:23:46 AMThis is why the Inferno playlist (no supers and no radar) will be welcomed by so many people, myself included. Also, I love how some people are lauding over the "great communication" involved with this method. Really? Examples of great communication would be "2 guys capping B" "Bladedancer at C" "Sniper wide right of overpass" "Interceptor near heavy ammo" This video/team does not exhibit that level of communication. It's as simple as: " Okay everybody, activate Super".... And done...really hard.

team work at its ripest
-
Just another reason why premade teams should never play against randoms. This was fascinating to watch but if it becomes common in pvp I'll have to quit playing.
-
It's just another exploit that some scrubs found. It'll be addressed some how and end up messing up pve like always.
-
Okay it's not technically cheating only in the respect that pvp was always a broken game mode.
-
While I don't think this is cheating or exploiting or anything of the sort but I do think it's just poor design and overlook on bungies part. I hardly believe this was intended by developers and yes I think this should be fixed.
-
While it may not be cheating, DeeJ has already said they are looking into it. Aka most likely how to patch it.
-
I agree, 1 night I rolled with my Raid Group just messing around, and we got stomped by this one group. We stuck it out and started communicating and the next battle was just like the video (not the infinite supers) but the score. We destroyed the other team it was like 25000 to 1400 or something. It was honestly the most fun I had in Crucible, I've been on the opposite side of lopsided defeats and it is kind of a beating understandably. Now if we were rolling like that every time, probably would not mess with it.

The craziest thing is that a 51 kd did not deserve a reward.
-
This has been done before, Giggle's just doing it more effectively.
-
Edited by Kovathos: 2/3/2015 6:38:07 AMI feel like a quick blink into the bubbles by a blade dancer who's supered already, if you can or super right after, I haven't ever tested it, and then wreck shit inside. Or quick blink into the middle with nova bomb and vortex. Suicide both ways but seems best way to get in there, that or sneaking in a fist of havoc, or suppression grenades or area denial attacks like solar flare, trip mine, etc... Kinda hope it's not patched only to see how it gets played out.
-
The other team should have just hid in the back by C. Because they had B and C capped the entire match.
