So I usually don't use rocket launchers, and I probably fall in that "don't know how to properly aim" category. How do you reliably hit Crota? I've only tried it once, and he always seemed to move out of the way at the last second. Do you need to jump and aim at his feet?

Edited by pulvis ira: 2/2/2015 6:19:07 PMHonestly dude I only ever use the RL that has proximity det (I don't have one with tracking, sadly). The way I see it, it's part of the game, and I really hate wiping on Crota! My advice, though, is to aim for center mass... Headshots are too risky, especially at that distance. I'd rather hit slightly than miss altogether! And yeah, good policy for the straight-shit RLs is to aim at the feet... Especially in crucible. If Crota, I only ever jump if I'm in a bubble.

Thanks for the input, was secretly hoping there was some trick to hitting Crota with DB but perhaps not. I do have a regular purple 331 RL with tracking, so I do have an option for Crota. I was hoping to use DB though because it hits hard with that flare.

There might be a trick, but it eludes me!

Edited by Tofu Tornado: 2/2/2015 10:34:38 PMMuch like Crota seems to elude my DB rockets, unfortunately! Luckily this is not a huge deal for me, I seem to end up running sword half the time anyway when I try Crota.
