My Warlock Raid gear has too much Strength. My Helmet and Chest piece solely pack Strength and my maxed Raid Gauntlets (not equipped) are split between Intellect and Strength.
I personally like to have near to maxed Intellect and a nice balance between Discipline and Strenght afterwards.
My Warlock has maxed 32 Light gear so I can run the Hard Raids
But the question is...
Do I get armor at the Checkpoints by running Hard Mode only? I can't remember if you do or not, I don't recall getting gear. Just the new weapons.

Each cp of the Crota raid has an opportunity for Armor except the Deathsinger. If you do normal and then hard it will give you 2 seperate chances to get better rolled armor.

Normal mode gives armour, hard mode gives weapons. Apart from Crota, helmets drop on both modes. If you haven't done normal mode first, hard mode will give rewards for both normal and hard. That's how you get armour in hard mode.

Edited by ZSquaredDoe: 3/6/2015 8:01:23 PMNope. Normal mode gifts you armor, weapons and helm at crota. Hard mode gifts you weapons. Chance of helm at crota EDIT: hard mode can drop armor but the drop rate is INSANELY low. You have a better chance of getting your gear via normal mode.

Yes you can get armor on hard but the loot table is larger so less likely. I suggest running normal for armor. Just my opinion.

Yes from the first two parts and crota only u can get the helm

Yes just run hard , I have gotten the gloves and over soul edict in one abyss run , some times for the bridge on hard I would just get the gun or just the boots , it's all random. One time I got just 7 radiant shards
