- 5+ Raids
- Knows how to use relic/sword
- 2000+ Grimoire
- Only Legendary or better weapons and armor
- At least 1 exotic weapon and 1 exotic armor (not purchased)
- Maxed out both subclasses on their main
Edit: I can understand not knowing how to use the relic, maybe due to an arrogant teammate or your team refusing to let you use it based on level and/or class, etc. But definitely seek out learning how. Maybe watch some videos on YouTube.

I feel I'm pretty lenient on this- you need 3 things accmplished: Atleast lvl 31- vendor gear gets you to 31, and it only takes 3-4 weeks to have enough marks, experience, commendations and glimmer to own enough gear to be lvl 31. Complete all story missions and strikes, nightfall several different strikes, and atleast normal raid completions of each raid once. No rare weapons. If you don't have these aspects of destiny completed, you're definitely not trying or challenging yourself enough, or this game is not for you and you should opt for an easier game. The ONLY alternative is if you're a PVP ONLY player- these milestones don't apply and you should be considered a different type of destiny player, entirely.

I would say 10 raid completions
