T4R. If you hate Nintendo, please tell me why you hate it, and vice-versa. I'm wondering because my friend on xbl hates anything with Nintendo....
He brought it up when I was getting off to play ssbm...
Inb4 #Gaming, this is a post about a video game company, not specific to a game in general so #offtopic

They have Pokemon and Zelda. I feel forced to buy a new 3ds because I want xenoblade and the next Pokemon. This makes no sense cuz I'm tired. I'm rather fond of Nintendo
-
I dislike them. They just rehash the same crap over and over.
-
I like Nintendo, but they focus too much on nostalgia rather than bringing variety and originality with titles. You can only play so much Mario kart...
-
I will never, ever, ever, ever understand the level of brand loyalty people reach with consoles. People root for these damn things like sports teams. At that point, you are no longer an informed and powerful consumer. But instead a naive milking cow for mega corporations.
-
Your friend hates Nintendo Eh? I do belive that you're friends with someone without a childhood. Please dispose of your friend through the salt bin.
-
i love nintendo because unlike other companies they dont screw us over i have never been disapointed in a nintendo game unlike cod destiny mcc watchdogs all the sports games ect
-
It is about a gaming company so still #gaming OT: I dislike Nintendo cause they have the same series of games year after year after year, if not that, then terrible ports.
-
Yes because they try to hard
-
I like Nintendo, but with the new pact with youtube that their making, it seems like an 'everbody loses' situation for people who Let's Play Nintendo games.
-
-blam!- no. In Shigeru we trust
-
Hell no. Zelda. Nuff said
-
I used to back in the SNES days (was a SEGA fanboy, even had a Nomad cause I refused to get a gameboy... Nomad WAS awesome though) but I've realized the error of my ways since then. You miss out on so much by shutting things out like that.
-
I don't hate them. I just don't have much interest in them. I only play nitendo when I'm at a friend's house.
-
Not at all. I may not care much for their home consoles, but I definitely don't despise them. If anything, I'm quite fond of Nintendo.
-
I don't hate them, but they profit a lot on nostalgia. Something I don't have for too many of their titles.
-
No why would I hate nintendo
-
I like Nintendo. I'm just tired of them churning out the same games/sequels over and over again.
-
I love Nintendo
-
I hate them because they produce the same game over and over just altering the power ups. They even do a better job at making the same game then cod.
-
The fanbase is toxic (worse than call of duty) and the games are too cartoony for my taste. If I wanted to go back to when I was 5 I might give it a go
-
I don't hate Nintendo, but I haven't been interested in their games or consoles and handhelds since I was a kid.
-
Like others have said they don't want to innovate. I respect them for what they did, i mean they made home consoles viable. And NES was my first system I remember getting. But come'on, make something new besides Mario Kart and Smash Brothers. Make a Nintendo exclusive that doesn't involve Yoshi, Mario, ANYONE from that franchise. However, I refuse to buy a WiiU until they make a GOOD Metroid game. Not that Other M crap. I know it's opposite of what I'm saying, but I love me some Metroid lol.

Edited by trong: 2/2/2015 3:12:01 PMI don't hate Nintendo, but I just think that their games lack diversity. For example, the most recent Mario Kart doesn't seem to really be much different from previous installments, other then graphics and such. It just seems to me that there isn't any true innovation in their games. I prefer companies who try new things with their games. For example, I enjoyed the hell out of Halo: Reach and Halo 4, and I had a blast with the Halo 5: Guardians beta. Those games all added something new to the mix. However, I don't find new Nintendo games to be very appealing to me, because they don't seem to spice things up with their new games. Edit: Like someone else in this thread said, they try to be a "nostalgia" company, and they milk the same games over and over every year.

If it wasn't for Nintendo then none of us would be playing any consoles. After 83 nobody wanted to invest in the games industry,it was going to vanish until Nintendo stepped up with their consol
-
HOW DARE YU!!! I only disliled when they broke off from square
-
I enjoy Nintendo games even though they are more repetitive than destiny, I mean how many damn Mario games are there!? But also who doesn't love playing Super Smash Bros.
