Is it after their first raid?
Just to clarify I have had this game since release(a few weeks after) so I am not a Christmas noob.

Edited by Duhubs: 2/2/2015 11:12:54 AMwhen you notice I'm hammering the strike boss with the black hammer (no pun intended) to keep him in place and you know those precision shots count and you'll kill the minions shooting at me so I don't miss and keep shooting... most definitely on Arcock Priest those shanks are so annoying...

Within 4 to 5 months with at least 25hrs of game play a week. Lmao I don't know, just play have some fun and -blam!- what a hater say.

When you find yourself telling people what needs to be done in a raid instead of asking, or guessing.

when we have Easter noobs

Edited by chickengoujohn93: 2/2/2015 10:22:43 AMWhen you achieve a respectable Grimoire score of at least 2200. Grimoire does not reflect on skill but it does say that one has put effort into the game and should have experienced Destiny's hardest game modes on numerous occasions. Sometimes, this is not always the case. Take Crota's End Bridge CP for example. Imagine you had a skilled player but inexperienced. His inexperience could potentially cause an Annihilator wipe as it takes more than skill to do that section legit.

Once an Xmas noob always an Xmas noob. .. you're either in since September (or earlier) or you ain't

Edited by TehPwnShow: 2/2/2015 10:47:08 AMWhen you convert to the Hunter master race

When you become a elitist. 3 32 of different race with exotics like ghorn and ice breaker and start acting like a douche and run raids for fun not even a challenge anymore and has a grimore higher than 2500 :)

Christmas noobs is always gonna be christmas noobs
-
Probably around 2000 grimoire score.
-
when is a christmas noob no longer a Christmas noob?
NEVER!

When you can actualy play the game.

I hate this "christmas noob" term, tbh. I think you're a decent player if you just do well and don't ignore your teammates when they're trying to help you. For (bad) example: Phogoth strike, both teammates ~1000 grimoire score and at fphogoth they just stayed in that cheesing room. They didn't care that I was pointing at them and shooting at them and then shooting on the floor outside. The result were witches and knight mayors spawning in front of the room and doubling the time needed to run through that strike. (good) example: Devils lair, at the boss one of the teammates kept hiding behind the entering door and just came out to shoot a few bullets and get back there again. I did the same like above, but he understood what I was trying to tell and so he got out there and we killed the boss without problems. I Think that the most of the newcomers just think that strikes are very hard (like a 3-person-raid) and immediately use the "cheesy" nightfall strategies without trying it in any other way.

They will always be Christmas noobs. Time can never fix that

Xmas noob is for life

Edited by mugennok: 2/2/2015 9:10:43 AMWhen you play VOG and they strictly have CE raid weapons and ask to wipe every time someone dies, what ever happened to playing through on one life? Or when you run the relic on gatekeepers and the swear up and down they've ran it a thousand times just to ask how do you use the relic again and how to cleanse because they can't see and panic....

Edited by CountZakula: 2/2/2015 10:20:39 AMWhy do people care whether or not someone got the game for Christmas? "Christmas noob" is just another way the for elitists who make these forums so toxic to feel like they're better than everyone else. EDIT: spelling error.
