Yeah that's a cool idea! I wanted to make it so you don't want to shoot at at them. I think this a unique mechanic because we are so used to and trained to just shoot everything. Making you go "Oh crap I didn't mean to shoot it," is an interesting mechanic. It's kind of like the slender man, where you don't want to look at it. I also wanted this encounter to just be like psychological. The Psions is possessing you to kill yourself, and when your friends shoot you and get rid of all the doppelgangers you get a [i]Times Vengeance[/i] type effect known as [i]Will of Light[/i] named after the idea of free will. We break the mind control and control ourselves, giving us the power to defeat the Psion Mind.
