What do you guys think?
I recently completed this drawing. It took me approximately 12 to 15 1-hour (on average) sessions over the course of a week and a half, using a pencil and a kneaded eraser. I drew it on an 18"x24" artist sketch pad (approximately 4x times the size of a regular sheet of paper).
[b]EDIT:[/b] I took the image to a print shop where they had a very large scanner and I scanned it in to the computer. The scanner they had was designed for architectural drawings and such, so its still not quite to the quality that I was hoping for, but I think the image there now is much better than the photo I had up previously! Thanks again for all of the wonderful positive feedback!! You guys are AWESOME!!

[spoiler]Unfortunately, its too big to scan on a traditional scanner so I had to snap a photo of it instead. And that didn't turn out as well as I had hoped. But you get the idea. Oh, and it was done all in pencil.

[b]EDIT:[/b] WOW!!! Thank you all so much for all of the positive feedback!! I really, truly appreciate each and every one of you!! Truth be told, I was very nervous about doing this drawing because its like the first thing I've done in a couple of years. So reading all of your positive comments has been very uplifting and is really making me want to continue on with more drawings. So thanks again!!

1 ReplyIt's good ability, but I would have preferred that you make it your own... Not a copy. Add some battle damage, or put it in motion. I stopped drawing a few years ago. Wrist/forearm problems from a surgery when I was a teen, I'm sure that gaming hasn't helped that. I appreciate you sharing your work, and look forward to seeing the next one. Maybe make one with special modifications... One that was altered by a guardian to be their ally...
