How much like dead island is it?
-
Very similar but the combat feels more refined and the abilities are much more interesting. Guns are more scarce and so is ammo plus they have drawbacks that make them impractical at times so don't expect a shooter. Think Dead Island meets Mirrors Edge

Sounds nice. Sucks it isn't for xbone360
-
If it were on the 360 it would have been scaled down for the Xbone/PS4/PC and it wouldn't even be any good
-
Ah, I wouldn't mind a dumbed down version exclusive to 369s. Maybe coul get the whole thing as a free DLC that has everything needed if te HDD is big enough.

Here is what you need to know. There is no way to to port a game over without dumbing it down on the better hardware to have the engine stay compatible with all platforms it's released on. Even though you may not have a problem with a dumbed down version for your outdated hardware, I have a problem with a dumbed down version on my $1200 PC. Porting has an impact on performance for every platform it is ported to. Multiplatform games will never run as well as platform exclusive games. Parity is an addition to the sum of having games being dumbed down which varies based on the game. It's not the sole reason but it will always be significant because of marketing. Dying Light would be a far below par experience on lesser hardware because so much of the game relies on pushing its technical limits.

Thanks for the explanation.
