You realize that this happens if you play anything too long, right? HUD transparency doesn't matter in this case unless it is completely transparent. And I don't think that playing any game with the Blind Skull on the entire time is a great idea. Especially for Destiny.

It would help.

Not true. It's the bright white and yellow that causes the burn. If it was any other color it would not be a problem. Your right, halo has blue huds or light Greys. They have never been a problem. And yes the HUD is off enough that this should not be a problem. It's the whites and yellows. How come no other game has had this sticky of an image retention. I wasn't even running the game on full contrast and had the pixel orbiter engaged.

Of course it can, but average play time shouldnt do this. The problem is destiny has a bright ass hud with zero transparency on some parts along with dark backgrounds...crotas end is a death trap for plasma lol.

But it isn't always there. Halo didn't have HUD transparency, and it had bright neon blue everything. Also, TV's, even Plasma's, shouldn't have a burned in image that quickly.

I wish the HUD was neon blue. With my care this would have never happened. It's the whites and yellows that cause this.

Edited by RiteToRmnSilent: 1/30/2015 4:55:54 PMThe only halo I've played on this tv was halo 4 for a short time. So I can't speak for halo, played it on a basic lcd. I agree this shouldn't happen but when the only game I've played that has done this is Destiny i figured I would inform all plasma owners to be careful with destiny. I'm not the only one this happened to. Edit: The hud is always there except for the tower. Any actual game play time the hud is there.
