Questions about Cortana.
Is she coming back?
What are your thoughts about the theory that she might inside the Composer or turned human by it?
Last one, do you believe that 343 make try right calling in "killing off" such an important character as Cortana?

Is she coming back? I certainly don't think so. (With good evidence too.)
What are your thoughts about the theory that she might inside the Composer or turned human by it?
If she was inside the Composer (which wouldn't make any sense) she'd still be dead because it was obliterated by the HAVOK nuke. The Composer can not turn her human or biological either. That is not how it works. The Composer only sublimates one way, nor can you sublimate a digital construct into a digital construct. As we see in Halo 4, the physical locomotive devices is not created by the Composer. If that were the case, when the Scientists of Ivanoff station were composed, they would have turned into Promethean Knights on the spot. A supplemental device is required to provide and create them. For the lore we have the Promethean factories that were present on Requiem, and present at the Composer's Forge. Same goes for organic bodies or forms of locomotion. And as the Librarian states, the attempts to return the essences to biological states created abominations. Not even the Forerunners could determine a way around this issue. Nor did they fully understand how the Composer even worked.

Mk. Was curious on the matter because many people were talking theories after the game's release. Thanks for your thoughts on the matter.

As for the final question. I do think it was a good move. It breaks the status quo and makes it so they can't really go back.
-
I never thought of it like that. For me I do not think it was a good idea to kill her off, because of how big of roll she played in and the fact that she was an awesome character, and also the "human" voice of MC.
-
That's the thing though. Chief doesn't evolve if Cortana is still around. It's stagnation.
-
Hmmmmm........again did not think of it like that. I thought she was their as him voice and try to remind him that he is human like everyone else. Hoping that MC does evolve into more of a character than he was in 4 next game.
-
He did evolve in 4 though. There was quite a role reversal going on in the game.
-
He did, but very little. Here's hoping they go further with it in the next one.
-
Very little? He didn't even develop in Halo CE-3. Considering Halo 4 was the game where he actually expressed what he as a person wants, and that he is defying decades of indoctrination is pretty crazy.
