Can't compare gaming on plasma on any other TV type,plasma is just so much better.I have both plasma and LED and the plasma is 100 times better and my plasma is almost 10 years old(come November) and my LED is less then a year old(Panasonic so a high end brand). If your getting image burning you bought a cheap TV,plain and simple.
