First off, if you're new to the group and we haven't met...Welcome!
Second, many of us "veterans" have had the benefit of those who came before us offering up advice, assistance and training on many aspects of the game. We were taken on VoG training raids where each person was able get experience on things like the relic without having to stress over wiping a run. We met folks of a similar "age" in the game and started to form our own raid groups.
Though I am not the best of players (I can teach anyone how to die gloriously), I do have a bit of an understanding on how things work and I continue to try to learn more. There are others in our group, more talented than myself, who I'm sure feel the same way...so, if anyone who has not had the benefit of clan training would like to revive the training group, post to this thread and lets see if we can get some of our "vets" and our "noobs" together for mayhem and mad loot.

Hey man. See your trying to revive the training sessions we had going. Not sure if your on my list or not anymore but resend me a friend request and I'm more then willing to help. I cant tell who is on my list anymore since transferring over to ps4 I have over the limit on friends for the ps3. I mainly roll on ps4 now but if you message me on companion a day or two in advance I can fire up the ps3 and help with either raid. On any difficulty. Just have to invite me cause I may not be able to see your name on the roster. PSN Falcon2_420. Falcon2_420 Admin

I'd like to be in on that group. I've only run vog normal before i took a break from the game. I'm looking forward to learning Crota. My psn is Dyslexiaboy

while I haven't added the clan tag yet (maybe I can be convinced someday) I certainly have strike and raid experience and would gladly share knowledge/strategies/expertise with others (especially with raids as they are the best game content imo) In fact I may even start a separate thread to get another Friday night regular raid group, I know there is already one going. I wouldn't mind hosting another one if there was enough interest

Would be more than happy to lend a hand. Like Noob, perhaps not the best executor, but I usually know what needs to be done. "Do as I say, not as I do!"

I've just joined the unknowns. I have a few raid completions but have not had a ton of experience with the relic in vog and no experience with the sword in crota. I know the basic concept but tend to miss out when raid groups are being formed and end up filling in when someone drops out. I'm on most nights after 10pm est but one week it's m,t,f,s,su, and the next its w,th so it's hard to be in a consistent weekly group.

might ad a few names to my PSN if that's ok on the off chance one (or more) may be online sometime when I'm having a crack at something. Hunter, lvl 25 with mic. tying to lvl up but am in New Zealand so my tz will prolly be out of whack for most of you...

Just joined up this past week, I got the game a few weeks ago. I have a 29 Warlock currently. I would love to get in some training on VoG, and later CE once I have the gear and level. I don't know the mechanics by heart in VoG but I have watched it be run a handful of times. If anyone wants to add me if they are putting together a group that doesn't mind bringing me, that would be great! PSN : Xyain

Like some others here my gaming time can be spotty. But this is why I love this clan, no pressure, easy going guys that understand what it means to be a family man that games when other priorities take priority. I am more than willing to help run newer players through any thing they need help with. It is others being willing to do the same that has got me to the point I am now. There are some great guys in this clan and I never thought joining this clan would to turn into what it is. Honestly add me and join if there is room feel free to ask for help running anything! I'm always down to help out as well. I sometimes don't make it in before 10, but if you are short a person and see me on, throw an invite out! I love running through these things, even if it's after clearing it already (although, let's be honest, who doesn't love getting the loot too, right?) :). Running the raids are a blast and pretty much take an already fun game to the next level!

noob has taught me a lot. except how to spell lol. and the rest of the training team with the clan. i was always stuck at 28. never had time to lvl up. then they showed me quick and easy ways to lvl up fast. like doing bounties usually only takes about 30 minutes if that!!! anyways. were always willing to help the new clanmates. im usuallly on after 9 if i dont have the kids and the gf is working otherwise idk if she will let me off the leash haha cant wait to see you on the battlefield

OK guys, need a couple sherpas for a Crota run on Sat. night at 9pm est. I've also left a message for our clan bros over at BackWater to see if they have any newer members that might be interested, looks like we need 2 - possibly 3 sherpas to fill out the fireteam.
-
I owe the raid training program also. I still don't have the DLC but if you ever need a VoG trainer I'll be glad to help out.

Noob, I'm always down to lend a hand with any training, so hit me up if you get a good response here and need help. As you know, I've got a toon for each class (lv32 warlock, lv31 titan, lv30 hunter), which might come in handy if you're looking to work on class-specific strategies, too. And you also know my propensity for scoring drop after drop of useless shards, if you just want a guy on your team that ups everyone else's chances for a sweet loot score. :)

Edited by Colovance: 1/29/2015 7:34:02 PMI'm in. lvl 31 hunter. PS3 - MattP-14. Online after 9pm nightly. I know more than I've done. Meaning, I've run VoG full through only twice. But, I've done the individual parts so often that I typically become the leader (giving out assignments, telling new guys what to expect, etc.). Never been all the way through Crota, though.
