mine doesn't have a problem with glare... it's simply not as bright as my samsung (LED)... so if the room is bright there is a little 'washout' where the detail doesn't pop as much... that said... my plasma is better for watching fast moving things (sports, action movies, and video games) provided the lighting is correct of course.

plasma or a good projector (w/ good screen) is better than LED or OLED... provided you have the right environment
LED is more versatile... and if you spend the dough for the 240 Hz... it's amazing
