I've noticed the continued trend that if one player reaches the sword before the other, the second player will try either killing all the hive or stopping them from spawning in some kind of revenge attempt. I realize that the bounty from Eris rouses a bit of competition, but that doesn't mean you have to be a bad sport about it. The sooner I, or any other player for that matter, finish the bounty, the sooner we'll be out of your hair.

umm, just go to the earth mission and kill that sword guy three times OR if you have the sword kills kill that guy then run in the next room and kill 20 people. you don't have to share it from open world at all.

I go to the rocket yard on Earth patrol. I'm usually the only one around when I'm there.

Edited by pHuCkNiLL: 1/29/2015 1:25:15 PMI've rarely do the sword or kill blades bounties on patrol. Fist of crota accomplishes the 15 kills in one go and going to orbit 3 times is faster then sitting around waiting for the blades

Yes. I noticed this as well. That is why I usually do the fist of crota. A lot of haters!! I ran crota with a few friends. So we went at it for a whopping 30-40 mins before they quit and got off for the night. I stayed on found another group of friends and got it done. Got a message the next day. Thanks for bringing me along! And got "defriended" ohh big deal i beat crota!! I still had to run it like 2 other times and even if i didnt i would of ran to help. So this kid must of checked my inventory as soon as ge got on.

Fist of Crota, no squabbles

Why not do the Eris mission on earth? The sword bearer spawns every time you load the mission.

I have noticed this as well...I don't really have a problem with another guardian killing hive, but when you purposely go into the cave and sit down, you are just being a jerk
-
I just leave it there half the time

I've literally killed the sword bearer, all by myself, and had someone come in and pick it up.
