Yeah, and Palpatine was right. Through age and the culmination of all of his power Plaguies' overconfidence made him vulnerable. He could make anyone immortal, except himself. As you know, this is why his story is a tragedy. I just loved Plaguies because of how damn brilliant he was; the vast scope of his plotting was truly incredible. I was often taken a back while reading the book.
