Except for the fact they are argueably the best tvs on the market....

they break in a week, and every LCD I've owned has been much better. went from an 50in lg somethingoranother plasma to a 70in sharp aquos. Night and day difference.
-
Oh yeah, they break in a week. Oblivious people are oblivious

If it wasn't for the burn in, weight, heat and higher energy costs, it would argueably be comparable to some of the best tvs on the market.
-
If this were true, things wouldn't get burned in the screen so easily. It can look as nice as it wants but in the end that's a major flaw.
-
It doesn't.... Did you happen to miss all the other plasma owners in this thread mentioning their tvs are fine?
-
Endgame must work for a plasma company. Always pushing his product. Coz it's da best.

I am a tech buff. I have very nice tech. I actually know what I'm talking about. I see you failed to mention where I said I'm excited to see this years LG OLED line-up, the 1st reasonably priced OLEDS. Sorry if my understanding of the subject threatens you

No apologies necessary. I don' stalk people to read all their previous comments. As some comments on here have already stated
rydog509 And who didn't know plasmas have a burn in problem. And if plasmas were all that great they wouldn't be dwindling away in the market like they are...
Plasmas have been discontinued mostly because they cost more to make. Nothing more, nothing less.
