So dumb why buy a 4k tv when nothing even plays in 4k?
-
Playing isn't my priority, so dumb.
-
So what plays in 4k haha
-
Blu Ray Player, upscales to 4K
-
Blue ray nope cable/satellite nope so again why would you buy a 4k tv so you can show people your an idiot with money to waste on a tv that's picture resolution is nice nothing plays on it
-
Well it upscales and who cares? Still better than a LED TV.
-
Lol let me take a video in 480 p and upscale it to 4k and then watch as you drool over it like the moron you are
-
If you use a plasma, you are the really moron. That shit TV will last you 3 months. And if 4K is just as good, and it lasts more years, why buy a plasma and waste money.
And before you say I can't "afford" a plasma, I can because I make more than you most likely, and I know how to use money correctly.
-
You clearly do not understand the meaning of fact which is the information I provided you and making random shit up which is exactly what you are doing I have spent enough time trying to educate you dumbass so good day kind sir
I SAID GOOD DAY
-
Good day to you too :D

They have the fastest hz. Or refresh rate. Usually around 600hz standard. So in fact the image is much smoother during motion. Led and lcd are usually around 240hz refresh. It's just very hard to get a 1080pm plasma. Can be quite expensive
-
Umm, Plasmas have by far the best image of all tvs on the market....
-
You are kidding right?
-
Plasma TV' s have one of the best pictures and refresh rates.

Edited by Endgame77: 1/28/2015 10:36:27 PMNo, I actually understand tech and buy a new tv every couple years. I probably spend 5000-10000$ a year on electronics. How about you?
-
I buy a TV regularly also, and I spend at least more than $1000 yearly on electronics. Why would you get a plasma when you can get a 4K or at least a LED?
-
Wow, it's really funny that you say "at least LED" when Plasmas destroy LED's in color, black levels, refresh rate, and viewing angles. You seem like the type of person that the Best Buy agent talks into buying a television.
-
Thanks for the insight, some people don't know everything. I had a plasma a few years ago, it was ok. Now I use a 65' Samsung 4K. It does enough for me.
-
No problem The real innovation is Oled. Oleds don't have the "oil painting" problems that LEDs generally have and have superb black levels. It's looking like this year we'll have many Oleds in the 1500-2500$ range. Here's hoping they're as high quality as their expensive counterparts.
-
Oh cool, I'll look into those. My speciality isn't tech but it is cars. Everyone enjoys different stuff I guess.
-
For sure. Check out LGs line of Oleds if you're interested. Many in an affordable range. I'm sure Samsung/Panasonic/Sony will follow suit, but they haven't announced their new line-ups yet.
-
Yeah, I'm good with this 4K for a while. I know may look into those, maybe for my bedroom, since this is in my home theater.
