When offering your criticism to a friend or stranger, do you prefer to provide [i]pleasant deceit[/i] possibly to avoid any damaged feelings or aggravating hassle, or do you typically provide [i]harsh honesty[/i] possibly to supply a better understanding or for personal morality.
However, at the same time, one could argue that holding one's tongue is the more moralistic approach while possibly attacking one's insecurities is the lesser moral approach.
