When offering your criticism to a friend or stranger, do you prefer to provide pleasant deceit possibly to avoid any damaged feelings or aggravating hassle, or do you typically provide harsh honesty possibly to supply a better understanding or for personal morality.
However, at the same time, one could argue that holding one's tongue is the more moralistic approach while possibly attacking one's insecurities is the lesser moral approach.
How do you feel? Any tales or examples?

I always, ALWAYS, am brutally honest. Couldn't be prouder of it, and neither could... Uh... Most... People

Honesty always can't help it I'm a bit of a robot like that.
-
I choose to be honest. Quite frankly I'm an asshole and a realist so I tell it like it is.
-
Brutal honesty is the only way to do it.
-
I'm kind of in the middle, actually.
-
Harsh honesty will fix the world
-
If they're your friends then they should expect honesty.

I'm brutally honest with friends who I think can take it because being blunt is more effective on people with a stronger mind. It's also sign that I respect them more if I'm willing to do something that's more relatable to my personality. Some people can't take brutal honesty so I simply present it in a nicer way but I do believe that it mitigates the severity of the problem

Honesty, if you cant appreciate it, then we arent friends. I have a small number of what i consider friends, but they are good ones.

Honesty is the best policy. If you can't take an honest opinion, don't ask me for one. I'm not going to bother protecting someone's feelings at the expense of the truth.

None of the above. Try gentle honesty.....
