Cry 3)Play uncountable pvp matches, hope for Gjallarhorn drop. Cry 4)Play VoG, open the chest. Cry 5)Kill Atheon. Cry 6)Play Crota, open the first chest. Cry 7)Stay up until Xur arrives. Cry 8)Play the nightfall. Be happy with a chestpiece that isn't for your class.
