Every FPS (minus the rainbow games I think):
Start with 100 rounds. Fully loaded mag ready to fire.
Fire 1 round. Reload with another full magazine. Magazine hits the ground.
Round count = 99... Wait a minute...
Apparently every mag is custom loaded with only the precise number of rounds intended to be fired (crystal ball magazines), or
Every unspent round is automatically returned to the user... But where do they go?! How many empty magazines do these guys carry for their round vacuums to fill?
I think the rainbow games did it right where you have a set number of magazines. If you reload early you just threw away those rounds.
This gaming logic thing always bothered me in shooters.

Yeah, but then you'd cry after 3 kills because your out of bullets. BF4 was going with this in the beta but kicked it out and decided to make a hardcore mode for it.

Titanfall does it right

The tediore guns in borderlands 2 do

The more ammo the bigger the explosion when you reload.

I was gonna say that lol

The battlefield 4 beta did it right, but the full game didn't.

Play hardcore, I think they added it to hardcore.

Heh. People probably complained about real round counts :/
