In the underground world of exobyte-created heroes, a secret organization known as the house of cards has formed to handle the dirty work that the real heroes themselves are afraid to attempt. This involves investigations into possible new villains who single-handedly threaten the lives of multiple heroes, destruction/sabotage of villain lairs and the most frowned upon of them all; Killing targets. Before my powers I was already an above average guy but with very low motivation, I stayed on average level with a higher way of thinking. After I got my powers? Well let's just say They weren't [i]cool[/i] enough for me and my personality. Nevertheless you play the hand you're given right? My power is fire but it only activates when I'm angry. Me being the opposite of the Hulk, welllll that's not too useful. I had trouble knowing whether I should continue living a normal life or try to be a vigilante. After a few slip ups with the JLA the House of Cards adopted me. These guys taught me how to really use my power. How activate them without anger and how to become an assassin. Never have I felt more motivation to do something in my life and it showed as I slowly become more and more masterful, moving up the ranks until I became the man in charge, "The Ace of Spades". Ironically enough I hadn't had a super hero persona until then. Didn't need 1. Only the top brass really need alter egos because they're the ones who meet other heroes publicly. Everyone else is in the shadows so their families and friends are safe and they can casually hang with them. I never was a fan of the caped crusader but hey, I have people to protect. Since I'm going to be the head for a while what better name to fit me than Blazing Aces. So when you see that red Spade emblem show up just know these 2 things: It burns with the fire of the House of Cards aaaaaaand you should probably run if you're a villain because hey your freedom isn't in danger, your life is. The Egyptians had many gods who would protect them from harm and danger as well as being them peace and prosperity. It was a rule amongst the gods to never interfere in miraculous ways; to never force an opinion on the people. But one god, the God of all gods, the One True God who's name can never be mentioned even by the lesser gods, decided that he had had enough of Egypt's ways because Egypt had enslaved "His chosen people". He forced the people to obey Him by sending 10 plagues, each 1 more deadly than the last. How was I involved in all of this? I am the Deity Horus. I watched over Egypt from the skies. There was not 1 person who's deeds my eye has not gazed upon for the Eye of Horus sees all but as a lesser god the power to stop the God of all gods can not be realized and thus I was forced to watch in pain as my people suffered, not in anger but in full understanding. Why must the humans destroy and enslave one another? For it is by these senseless acts that the wrath of a nation's god is revealed. By this reasoning I, Horus, god of the sky, renounce my former title and am now Deity Horus, the wrath of the gods. For now, the humans will suffer for their ignorant ways.
