Seriously guardians...
Has anyone stopped to think how much you paid for Destiny? $60
Has anyone stopped to think how much you paid for COD4? $60
Have YOU even pondered the fact that it MIGHT cost more money to develop a game like Destiny? Yet it's still $60.
Have you even thought about the price of seeing a movie or going out doing whatever you do for the hours you have put in Destiny?
Has anyone zoomed in on Phogoths face? Have you ever zoomed in on a bot in BO1? See the difference? Same price!!
$15 for maps, equipment and more hours of play, you can barely go out to eat (ONCE) for that much now. Yet you've spent more time in Destiny then you most likely have in all other games you own. Just stop. You know that this game is amazing and that you will come back again and again. So show your support and pay that little bit extra every couple of months. Anyone?

stop you have committed a well worn fallacy , I suggest you go figure it out and you will go through life avoiding such a clear and obvious pitfall!! good luck...

But Skyrim tho.

Such a bitch

Oh look at Bungie apologist. Cute.

I can go to McDonald's and spend $15 on me and 5 other people where do you live?

Has anyone ever stopped to consider that maybe instead of meticulously detailing every pimple on phogoth's prepubescent ogre face or hair on his chesticle, maybe players would have preferred that they spend time on things that actually matter (ironically, most of the stuff in the now incessant "update we deserve" posts)? Also, Avatar: 425,000,000 dollar budget, 10 bucks to watch in theaters, 20 bucks to own, even when it was still all the rage? Just stop. You know Bungievision's greed is amazing but you'll never stop coming back for more, whether it's because Destiny's addictive-by-design system has got you hooked, or just because you're a loyal Desticles (or Bungicle?) that will support them no matter what. If you enjoy the game, awesome, but let's call it what it is. P.S. Awesome troll post, even if you didn't realize you were trolling. Luckily, I was bored and couldn't resist. I'd also like to clarify that I only "liked" your post so I wouldn't lose it. Coming back and reading the rest of the comments tomorrow is going to be glawwwrious.

How much money do you think they wasted cutting all the content pre-release? The problem with this game is the huge lack of content. Not just content though, STORY. Most people feel we don't have much idea what is happening. Just log on and do their daily stuff and call it a day. At least COD had an entire story, generic maybe, but a whole story none the less.

Love this. Bump. Way to much hate out there for a company that put so much love into what they do.

In all honesty, games like Destiny, you cannot match in regards to bang for buck entertainment. I've logged over 300hrs somehow and spent less than $100 on the game and DLC content. There is another DLC that is due for release, and I cannot think of many other things that would keep me entertained for that amount of time for that price. A little off topic: I love completing daily vanguard bounties, I just wish they had newer and more varied ones available.

And then the haters find the thread. Thanks for replying though!

Edited by Kankunation: 1/26/2015 6:18:00 AMmy only true complaint moneywise is the method of which Activision chooses to give us the rest of the game. If bungie had their way in the beginning, much of the DLC content would have been in the game at launch, with perhaps just the raids and equipment left out. Unfortunately activision has taken the reigns on selling destiny piece by piece, even separating the DLC into 2 different season passes, getting double the money out of fans. Whereas normally a season pass will cover all major DLC, Destiny's only covers the first 2 DLCs, leaving the 3rd and 4rth DLCs to be paid for separately. Its just insane to have to spend so much on story that should have been (and for the most part is) in the game at launch. If it were just Bungie producing the game on their own, the current DLC would have probably been $10, and the Season pass would have included all planned expansions. Alas, Activision loves to milk their "fans" of every last dime. The only Company that is worse at this is EA, which thankfully bungie did not partner with (if they had we could expect micro-transactions, and booster packs to spend real money to instantly reach lvl 30)
