I gotta love kotaku sometimes! Haha, this just shows that Bungie is attempting to listen to the fans and fix problems that need to be addressed.
Edit: Fans don't understand that this is an expanding game, it's not going to be there all at once! Each dlc is going to bring new loot, new updates and an expansion to the growing story of what is destiny.
So please be a little patient and bear with this amazing company that is trying to stay loyal with their fans.

I get that they are but they aren't doing a good job of it.
-
Yeah they're listening to their homies and not reading what we are writing so... You know how trolls come out.
-
You must work for bungie, right! Compared to the hype this game failed. They dropped the ball more times then can be written about in a short manner. That's putting it nicely. -blam!- bungie fixing cheeses(exploits) and nothing else! Shirkers are atleast spawning now at the wizards but don't sometimes they dont open up!!?!?. They are only fixing shit that makes you play the game longer. God forbid after doing the raid for 1 hour or 6hrs on normal or hard, cheese or no cheese still plenty of Bugs and glitches that never get fixed. I -blam!-ing hate people talk like you asking us to be patient with them. -blam!- that! They have been working on this game for six years! They changed the game with 6 months left to make this pos. Oh and all that content your saying we should patiently wait for was on the orginal game! #dumbass

I hate kotaku.
-
They've lied before, I'm not expecting anything at this point.
-
Loyal to fans? I could beat you head in if you had said this with a straight face to me. Really, I wouldn't even let you explain it further or say of was a Joke. And there you would be, face caved! -blam!-ing retarded ass mofo. You better work for bungie. Think everyone that has played this game since before first dlc knows bungie really hasn't done shit to fix much unless it makes game longer. not really harder just longer. The few people who are like you either have stock, work for, or fan boy with a crush so big for bungie you would let the company tag team you. Prob change sexs to have their baby.

Edited by Mathonn: 1/26/2015 1:23:08 PM"Fans" don't understand that this stuff doesn't just magically happen overnight. Vault space - it isn't just adding space, they have to restructure the vault, replacing ours with the new one. I like to keep all my shit, so I'm all for them taking time to do it right. Story in game - it's not. There is no system in place for grimoire in game, so if they decide to do it it's going to take a sizable overhaul. Heavy Ammo glitch - likely 1 -blam!-ing number in a billion lines of code, but changing that number creates a collection of other questions. The list goes on. People bitch because the raids get fixed instead of other stuff, but there's likely a "raid team" focused specifically on that stuff, while other groups hunt down the other issues.

I remember when I still had faith in Bungie.... It was a long time ago though. Reach got me ready for this disappointment of a game
-
It's ok for you to rip me off Bungie with lame, cheap, and lazy initial content. You don't understand OP you fool, hope your daddy beats the stupid out of you.
-
Right now? But I'm on the can!
I am not a proud man...
-
Unless they eliminate all currencies and just use glimmer in their place, than this game will still suck and have an over-complicated economy.
Bungie is listening!
Said no one ever.

Edited by Swiftlock: 1/26/2015 11:43:45 AMListening and actually taking these issues to heart to improve the game are two entirely different things. Destiny could've been a magnum opus of gaming. Instead, it was marred by corporate greed and rushed development. I'll start praising Bungie and forgiving them when they actually start taking action, not before. "We are listening" doesn't cut it.
-
Edited by Froboy: 1/27/2015 6:39:11 AMI think what you meant was "Bungie is listening!" — Bungie
-
So what you mean is, that you have to spend $20 for it to be fixed?
-
Edited by aero198: 1/27/2015 4:47:30 AMWhat Bungie doesn't understand is that here on the official forums is where they should be commenting things like this. Instead we have to go searching for our damn apologies elsewhere! Our updates here are just half assed vague commentary on some pointless thing with empty promises. Bullsh-t!
-
The only thing that Bungie is expanding or working on is Destiny 2. Destiny is done. All content is done.
-
Edited by Sora Orth: 1/27/2015 4:27:08 AMWe know they have seen it, but will they fix it? Doubt it
-
Thats a first..
-
Now if they can fix the Crota bugs.... Sword disappearing has done me in twice today. Crota jumping down or instantly standing up. It's so annoying.
-
Honestly good to hear, but bullshit that Bungie employees are using other forums (reddit/neogaf) to address issues to the #Destiny community. This needs to be addressed by DeeJ, he needs to address the community here, before some rogue dev does on another forum. And in doing so, he should also explain why these rogue devs always beat him to punch, and never on Bnet.
-
Still don't seem they are
-
Bungie is listening..............to the spicegirls.

Keyword: "EXPANDING." Kickstarter games on steam "expanded" more than Destiny did and did not have a hefty price tag. Each "expansion" is mainly regurgitated shit with a new paint job. They are too busy trying to test shit out for the framework of the game than expand on it. It's like this: "Here's a cool idea. Let's have the public pay for it and try it. And if it doesn't work, we'll just patch it and try again on a later expansion." It's like they're using the entire customer base as Public Beta Testers. Instead, that should be done on the side extensively before official release of new product--even though most of this should have been figured out when the game first came out so that they can PROPERLY expand the game with new content.
-
If they are listening then they need to not make all my legendarys crap. It's nice they gave us a way to upgrade exotics but I don't want to find legendarys again I like that took me forever to obtain.

They are the feedback monkeys: see no feedback, hear no feedback, speak no feedback
