I just wanted to remind them that House of Wolves DLC is already on your Destiny Disk
Happy new Year and merry christmas to the noobs..
Here is some info on that in case it got burried by the forums.
This was discovered by a reddit user during a bug and was later removed off the forum but later reposted on major news sites, so its hardly new info, but Christmas noobs weren't aware they were being lied to by Bungie, so I just wanted to remind them that House of Wolves DLC is already on your Destiny Disk, it just doesn't have any enemies.
Leaked Screenshots

For accuracy purpose, These areas do exist and people were able to glitch into them, but their entrances may have been patched already? Also, about the levels in the screenshots. I am assuming the levels are lower, because this was meant to be released with the full game, but now the mission and strike levels will be 10 levels higher, so 32 instead 22 for example. These are not fake by the way.
P.S. The entire Destiny the Game is 40 GB total. Just FYI. The Expansion is 3 missions, 1 raid, 1 or 2 strikes, and 4+ pvp maps. That will be a very small download comparatively. So please if you choose to post criticism, make it constructive.
-
Yeah, "EXPANSION 2 MOON STRIKE" looks done and dusted.
-
i have a hard time believing that lightswitch and juggler would be enabled on a raid either - but overall you are 100% correct. the original download was 50GB i think and everything is on the disk except for little scripts and sets of rules to put things in place - bungie just has to push a couple buttons ie hard mode crota vine
-
Ascendant materials? Does that mean raid gear going back to ascendant?
-
Here we go again...
-
People like you should just leave the common sense to people that actually have it. Have fun with your "already on disc House of Wolves DLC" that has absolutely no content to it. Post a pic to let us know when you finish the raid and show some of that new gear you get ..........

Edited by Drak: 2/5/2015 2:58:36 AMI just wanted to remind them that OP stands for Original Poster, or in this case, Pd33. Here are also some more links that OP wants shared with the rest of the community. http://i.imgur.com/ogQarGg.png http://i.imgur.com/aq9gzjs.jpg
gg, get rekt, keep crying
Oh will you look at thaaat
-
Most of you idiots actually think game data is on that disk well news flash no game data is on that disk all it does is give you access to the servers where ALL of your game data is stored and the DLC gives access to locked areas of the servers that were put in less than a week before so all of you shut up.
-
Besides the fact that they update and change many things. What you see are some raw items and placeholders. They will most likely change or be removed by the time HoW comes out
-
I just wanted to remind you that the majority of the area you call "House of Wolves already on the disc" is just placeholder so your DLC download isn't 2gb of data... You do realize that what you're refering to is just a placeholder with no actual content to it, right? Of course you don't, because by making this post you've already shown that you don't understand how game development works. Git smærtator dumbee
-
Who cares if it's already on the disk? There's no proof that it's cut content. If anything it just looks like bungee had a plan for the game and put this area in to make it easier for when the dlc comes out.
-
Contents on disc but... its an online game, packed with updates, patches and change. Honestly do expect to pay 60 to 70 dollars for all the content? There are on going daily charges and bills that bungie needs to pay.
-
all the pre-teen desticles defending this kind of practice is the reason activision can get away with it. you idiots need to take bungies balls off your face and look at reality
-
Cool story, it wasn't finished on the disc. So some levels were found, who cares? It's up to bungie when they want to release the content, it's your choice whether to buy it.
-
I can access the citadel anytime, it's pretty easy to get into and it isn't even a glitch, in the room where the transporter is that takes you up to it you just have to get high enough to jump over the barrier around it. Also found myself 2 ghosts up there.
-
This game is like watchdogs, the only reason it is having or had massive success is because it was really the only good game out at the time. If no mans sky, the district and maybe one more good game came out at the same time it would have failed. All that grind just to have higher vendor gear for sale..... Everyone would have quit lol.
-
How hard could it be to seal off the areas used for DLC and deactivate spawn triggers? Cut content was cut The "DLC" is a digital key that opens these areas up and reactivates spawn/mission triggers.
-
Fools it's on the disk to access game play when the final bits are released Idc if it's on the disc lol long as it's awesome n fast 20 bucks for hours of headaches they put in? Smh... it's not just a map pack of zombies ir multi lol its pretty well rounded Idc what u think

Edited by Rynoceros: 2/4/2015 11:44:09 PMTo everyone who says it's not there or there's just a placeholder structure in place: Do you really think the 100mB TDB download contained all of the content that isn't on the disc? Really? And you think 98% of HoW isn't there, either? That's just precious.
-
Never saw these screens thx for posting

So you'd rather them hold out the empty zones with no mobs, no mechanics, nothing, so we have a bigger download for no reason? Do you think each individual team at Bungie finished at the same time? Landscapes were complete at the same time as weapon balancing? No, terrains get finished relatively early on. Then instead of either firing the entire team or paying them to do nothing they start working on the next areas. People like you are the worst kind of toxic forum user, absolutely ignorant, completely entitled and angry about absolutely nothing.
-
I could explore the continent of Tamriel on Skyrim; go running around Red Mountain, scope out whitegold tower in Cyrodiil. I guess Bethesda cut out all those other provinces so they could sell them back to me huh? Playable areas do not constitute finished content. If you genuinely think a company such as Activision would be so flagrant in committing the kind of act you claim, you are a total -blam!-ing tin-foil moron.
-
Ok tinfoil hat wearers like the OP who like to beat dead horses must not have great memories huh? Well your points back then were invalid from the get go. If it was all already on the disk then why did we get over 2 gigs of updates right before the dark below was released? They're called placeholders for a reason XD
-
Lol you're ignorant.
-
For all of this it is uncommon for games to have the areas already there but with little to no detail and texture and the DLC was not originally planned to come with release and some of the things are outdated by several months
