So much can be fixed if there is fluid communication between players and developers.
Yes, there is a ton of whining about irrelevant bs. Probably more whining than legitimate issues, so there should be a filter but still an active response to the needs/wants of the community.
We get that you can't please everyone not should you try but an answer even if it is a blunt no, is better than feeling ignored. My personal suggestion is to go to one of the greatest gaming communities I've ever experienced and ask them how they deal with their community. (League of Legends) they are extremely active with their community and are keeping their players in the loop, why changes are being made or not.

Exactly. With League of Legends, I can go on their Forums at any time and see at least four of their developers in conversations with their community, and that's a minimalist number. Minimum of four (4) devs... that's just damn awesome. Just fracking [i]talk to us[/i], Bungie. Not the crap answer 'we're listening', but actually talk to us. It would really go a long way.
