After making a thread asking what all the hype was about, I finally worked up the courage to download a ROM of Earthbound. Jesus christ what even. I haven't even left the first town and this game is already wierd as all balls. Why is there an interact menu when the correct action is already mapped to R? What is withe the sentient bee that descendes from the heavens? Why is the combat so....bare minimum? The music is also wierd and trippy. And why the -blam!- does Pokey's mom look like a CLOWN STRIPPER!? I think I may have gotten in over my head with this game.
