It is because there is a big confusion of what this game is and is not. I think that the Destiny players feel that Destiny was suppose to be an MMO Lite with regular updates. But instead its not. And that is what is causing such a huge confusion at this time. We are thinking we will have new stuff coming out each month, but that is not the case with Destiny.

But that is how they chose to market the game. So our expectations are partly their fault. I will still play, but not as much.

They don't want Destiny 1 to be so good, that you will not buy Destiny 2. They make just good enough for you to play it till you get bored. The problem is many got bored way too early.
