Naw, I knew that was coming after the last cutscene of the first mission in gears of war 2. As much as I loved Dom, I really expected him to die by the end of 2, and by 3 I was like "when are they gonna kill him off already?" Still, there were some feels. But mostly I thought "it's about damn time!"
