depends on what you are into, like Psycho pass(*1), Death Note, Deadman Wonderland are some of the darker anime series, the ones I found kind of funny were Is This a Zombie, Heaven's lost property (this series is more stupid humor than anything), have to recheck my list of anime series and get back to you later for other comedies. but the other ones I would recommend are Accel world, SAO (second season, or episodes 15 through 25 are kind of rushed on the story and the series has time line jumps), Angel Beats, full metal alchemist brotherhood, Chrome shell regios (need to check spelling), and there are others if you would like me to add more later but I am not home right now and not near my list of amine series. Also log horizon is good and does give the viewer a lot of story in the first season, second season(which is still sub only) is more on the interactions and daily lives of all the characters as they try to adapt to their situation. One last thing is I made the post with the idea of dubbed animes only, so IDK if you would like to know of any subbed animes that are good. so send a message if you do and I shall answer to the best of my knowledge. (*) 1) this one is a murder, mystery anime that had me hooked since episode one, but I don't do spoilers. 2) angel beats starts as a funny anime but ends with a sad but happy end. Also one more thing (and btw this is my personal opinion) do NOT watch the anime guilty crown. I found it kind of bad due to how the story was set up and the ending is freaking depressing. Note: yes I am late adding in the final notes but I had class to deal with and forgot about it until recently.
