More specifically, the fact that it has a vertical blast radius equivalent to an atomic bomb's mushroom cloud is what makes it OP. There's no reason why it should kill me when I'm 30 feet in the air, Bungie. That's just overkill.
Edit: Let me make it clear for all of you. Fist of Panic is a ground pound. The important word there is "ground". Fist of Panic, a "ground" pound, can take out people 30 feet in the air. That's my problem with it.
Now watch as the people who abuse it come to defend it.

I have a Titan, but do I use striker? Nope, don't have any gear for it, but every super is "OP" according to anyone who has died from one. Is the vertical blast radius ridiculous? Yeah, but every other super has some range to it, but not the titans, so they should have that. You want something that's OP? Try Nova Bomb with Shatter and Angry Magic.
-
Learn physics. If a frag lands next to you, chances are the shockwave kills you first and the shrapnel makes sure your dead. Now imagine a super charged one.
-
It's a super.. it's supposed to be 'op'.. kids these days.. Shake n bake
-
I think you're over exaggerating on the 30 feet of the ground part
-
I'll agree with this. Even something like Arc Blade requires you to be careful since that crowd of people you wanna kill might just gun you down first if they're fast enough and they could elude you until your super runs out. With Fists of Havoc you can dodge it! I've tried running away from it, triple jumping into the sky, even taking cover behind a wall and it always gets me. It happens so fast that you'll be lucky to get the Titan first (I've only done it twice with my fusion rifle) I know there are some aspects of this game that seem OP but I would say this is the worst. But I'll admit I'm mostly butthurt because it's an insta-kill move I don't have.
-
Every super is OP, because they are supposed to be. Titans need their panic buttons because it's a good way for them to stop a Bladedancer from arc blading. I play with a Bladedancer and I get frustrated sometimes when it happens too, but I get even more frustrated when I walk into super after super in a Crucible match, no matter what class or super. Shit happens

Edited by javihavy: 1/22/2015 1:38:16 AMThe thing I hate about most supers is that there is little you can you to avoid them. The only times I've avoided them is the obvious don't be in the area and I've somehow managed to jump over 2 nova bombs. Golden gun is the easiest to avoid if you see it coming just run to cover though you might still get caught. To avoid bladedancers you can you a shotgun Or fusion rifle neither of which I use so when I see a bladedancers I just run to make them waste as much of there super on me. Kinda wish there auto aim wouldn't work in the air. Anyways the worst part of nova bomb or foh and even bd is since most of the game is cqc there is nowhere to go if you are anywhere within 20 feet of a person
-
Hey I hate when I'm flying through the air and a blade dancer gets me. But I don't go crying for attention and a nerf. Deal with it. That's supers for you.

Fist of Panic, Panic Bomb, or Panic Dance? It's all the same. What's with all these Forum Faucets? The whole crucible is full of instant kill death trap explosion bullets. Sometimes it's frustrating, sometimes it's awesome. Welcome to Destiny.

Where is #satire!?
-
I mean.... You just sound like a big fat pussy. Gold Gun and Nova Bomb are also OP - that's the point!

-
master rahool likes fisting.
-
Today I was playing on Twilight Gap. You know that area where people stay and snipe near B flag a titan activated fist of havoc 'on top' of the platform and killed a few guys. I was under it and still got killed. I have only blinked and escaped fist of havoc once. And even it depleted my health so much. The blast radius is way too much.
-
NERF2OP4UM8, I have a feeling this has been said about 400 times now, bungie doesn't give a shit.
-
Not OP. In fact it needs a buff. I want a larger AOE.
-
Well first of all its called fist of havic people panic and use it because they probably have bountys to do like 10 kills and not die get ur facts right and stop wining it should be able to kill people in air because other wise people could jump over it in pve and they dont want that and dont want to chage how it works same with blade dancer i r can make u jump up and u can swing it few times jum again swing till u get to them to kill them its supposte to be op its a super so shut up or stop playing
-
Edited by NavrosOL: 1/21/2015 11:47:38 PMThe insane height it goes up needs to be done down, and I don't think supers should kill you threw a wall. But shut up!
-
The last line is perfect. Now make a titan and join us
-
Edited by GoFancy: 1/21/2015 11:38:42 PMThe fists are probably the worst super they are far from op XD gr8 b8 m8 I r8 8/8

The FoH has the same height and radius as the Titan Defender Bubble, it does however allow you to have aftershocks which stay for a few moments after it has been triggered. All supers are OP, instead of crying about it, make a titan, learn to use and become OP yourself. fights are never fair and yes I understand this is a video game, so the classes should be balanced. The important words there being "should be". IMHO the classes are balanced, as the titan has to get in close to use, so warlocks and hunters can take them out prior to them initiating their supers. NO it is not a panic, it is a room clearing decision and in PvP it is up to the person on the controller to decide to use on a single person or hold it for a group attack. change your tactics and take the titan out before he launches his FoH
-
As a Titan, I agree. The vertical damage it causes is way too much. I'll jump into the air with my jump (and we all know the Titan has the highest jumping ability) and I still get killed by it.
-
Awww... :'(
-
I do agree that the vertical blast/shock radius should be reduced in crucible. Plenty of times I've seen a titan just charging at me without shooting and instantly knew one of two things: 1) Shoulder charge 2) Fist of Havoc So I float to max height with my warlock, which is set to max agility during crucible since armor doesn't matter all that much imo. Anyways, here I am, 50 feet in the air, and I die. Every time. People can do it over the top of a nova bomb, why not the fist of havoc?
-
I don't have a titan and...
It isn't OP, Hunter supers in crucible are
That is all
