More specifically, the fact that it has a vertical blast radius equivalent to an atomic bomb's mushroom cloud is what makes it OP. There's no reason why it should kill me when I'm 30 feet in the air, Bungie. That's just overkill.
Edit: Let me make it clear for all of you. Fist of Panic is a ground pound. The important word there is "ground". Fist of Panic, a "ground" pound, can take out people 30 feet in the air. That's my problem with it.
Now watch as the people who abuse it come to defend it.
-
It's a good thing there are no supers that are called that, now it won't get nerfed!=)
-
Let me make it clear for all of you. Fist of Panic is a ground pound. The important word there is "ground".
...it deals Arc damage...which is "electricity and has an area of effect." JS

Oh no, I'm getting outclassed again and am about to die! 'Slaps controller furiously to perform instant panic retaliation' = MLG epic win
-
All supers have advantages and disadvantages. No one super is more OP than another.
-
Cry me a river. Build a bridge over it. Jump off the bridge.
-
Fist of Havoc takes the most skill and timing of any super. You have to time it just right and get in the exact position. It's harder than you think. I don't see why literally every super is complained about, get over it.
-
It's ridiculous when I know the person is gonna fist of panic and I jump 10 seconds earlier but I still die mid-air
-
Then stay away from titans
-
First of all, it isn't panic, ever. Second, we call down a vertical bolt of lightning from the sky, channel it through our bodies and spread it across the ground. We are the conduits of the power of gods, and we laugh at your attempts to kill us close quarters by smiting your face into shocked nothingness.
-
Put yourself in a titan's shoes. If people could just jump over your fist of havoc it would suck even more than it already does. I didn't check your character but if you're a warlock you just shut your -blam!-ing mouth about panic supers (nova bomb) and if you're a hunter our supers practically guarantee us three kills per use even if they take slightly more skill and thought to use.
-
Warlock has a throwable titan though
-
funny thing is, 100% of people new what you were talking about by the fist of panic. shoulder charge is also OP. ONe hit melee? shouldn't other classes get that too?
-
And golden gun and blade dancer are not op? The hunter has a mobile super. Atleast the Titans is area damage
-
Yeah, I was playing with my friend who is a titan. He used his super on one guy, and I asked why. His answer was simple... "I panicked."
-
Dude get a life, they need to leave everything where it sat no class is too 0P
-
Don't play striker. No it isn't.
-
Fist of panic is fine.
-
Fist of havoc panic post ftl...
-
Another Titan Bashing Post I see... Yawn........!
Shut Up Meg!
Titans : Hulk Smash! Warlocks: Instant Spirit Bomb that is impossible to escape. Hunters: Yuno Gasai on steroids. If you know what I mean lol https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dGZiyuslIOY
-
It was never op. Learn to strategise and distance yourself from titans as they can shoulder charge you as well. You can always improve.
-
I never use it because it is by far the worst super in the game. And certainly not OP. Annoying? Sure.
-
I beg to differ on the "ground" portion of your argument. I have pounded plenty of people in the air on their head with Titan smash. Plus the hulk has been know to knock helicopters out of the air with his "ground" pound.
-
Where in the game does it say it's a ground pound, or are you saying that?
-
It's no dumber or less game-breaking than "seeker" grenades and Arcblading for a full minute and a half. They -blam!-ed this game up with the Supers. Of all the bad ideas they chose to put in this game, that has to be the absolute the worst.
