what subclass do you prefer for raids!?!
Depends what raid but usually llamas
-
Personally, I run Sunsinger. More versatility, since they can either hit wide areas with heavy damage or focus fire on a tough target with a super. Fireborn is also nice for when you get BS killed. (Ahem *Rapid-fireHobgoblinshitsnipers*)

Edited by unspoken threats: 1/20/2015 1:59:08 AM*if you don't have gjallarhorn specifically with crotas end I use voidwalker in tandem with bad juju. I always get my super up by the time we kill swordbearer. set up your class with angry magic to track target (crota) when you throw it and select the option to increase duration of nova bomb. once thrown and he gets back up he's affected by lingering damage and start shooting rockets. I enjoy this set up but you don't have to take my word for it. - Lamar Burton, Reading Rainbow.

Ha. Even llamas are better than voidwalkers. Love it.
-
Llamas definitely.

Llamas

Depends on the raid. VoG (mainly hard mode): Sunsinger definitely for all parts, if you go downed you wont be hurting the team if you can self res Crotas End: Different for each part, heres how I'd do it Pit: Voidwalker for generating orbs for the team and getting rid of all those annoying thrall that could bring your team down. Bridge: Sunsinger, this part would hurt the team on hard mode with a player down, so get your self res ready just incase Deathsinger: Sunsinger, because if she isnt killed quick enough, you could die fighting through all those enemies to take her down in the last 30 seconds and you could self res and try to finish her off Crota: Voidwalker, generate orbs for the one with the sword so he can supercharge Crota with it and deal nice damage plus however many hits they can get in All classes can play big roles in a raid. A perfect team could be Sunsinger: for self resing, duh Voidwalker: taking out crowds/generating orbs Bladedancer: same as voidwalker Gunslinger: dealing a lot of damage on those ogres and taking down crota or boomers Striker: same as voidwalker and bladedancer Defender: because who doesnt want weapons of light?

I run void and switch specs for boss fight if needed. Void power is awesome and sunsinger is survivor/solo mode
-
I normally roll as a sunsinger, but when I get complacent I switch back over to void walker and GitgÜd again.
-
I like the fuzzy llama that will spit on your enemies.
-
People will probably disagree with me on this but I would rather have voidwalkers. I have found that 9 out of 10 sunsingers I play with are too reliant on the self revive perk which in vog was fine. However, in crotas end it's a bitch. I can't tell you how many times I've had to wipe because someone is careless and dies causing an oversoul at just the wrong moment and screwing us over. Plus a skilled player will get far more use out of the voidwalkers damage capabilities than having a super that they only use when they die. The sunsinger is outdone damage wise by voidwalker and its only redeeming quality is useless for crota.
-
For the maze, void walker with obsidian mind and bad ju ju means pretty much unlimited nova bomb
-
Sunsinger because of the flame shield revive And grenades. Void is amazing for the lamp section.
-
Depends on what part. The pit I favor the radiance ability and sticky grenades.... however if you have a bad juju-obsidion mind combo it's SUPER FOR DAYS. At crota, if I'm not on Zelda sword duty, I'll void walker (cause revives are available in nm) and nova bomb thralls for orbs and give my sword guy a chance to get his super en route to crota. Case by case basis my friend.... figure out what your team needs you to do and go from there.
-
Sun singer good for self revive
-
Depends on the situation. I often switch back and forth between subclasses and change my gear around for different stages of both VoG and CE.
-
i just use my voidwalker for everything. i don't know why, but i really don't like sunsinger to much.
-
After the obsidian war mind and bad juju string of curses, void walkers can practically Nova bomb the entire raid.
-
I'm not a good raider... But groups with one of each sub-class are pretty legit.
