in that area you have the chance of having "the minions of darkness moving on you" public scenario happen (probably not what it is called but i cannot fully remember) essentially a crap load of Hive and Fallen start swarming and battling it out, there are some spawn caves (the one in the vid is the infamous loot cave from way back when) that spit out enemies at a crazy rate.
