I'm a girl and I'm good, get over it.
So, I know some guys are not used to the idea of girls playing video games and actually being good at it. Guess what it really happens! Several times now I have been booted from fireteams as soon as they found out that I was female and its really frustrating to finally find a raid group and as soon as I speak get kicked out. All it does is make me afraid to talk when I do get in a raid group. I'm a level 31 warlock with a pretty high grimoire score and I have worked really hard to get there so when I'm turned away from teams for being a girl it's upsetting. So, guys get over it,it is 2015 and there are a lot of girls that play video games and are actually good.

Skill is never indicated by gender. Give them time. Life will beat that shit out of them. My old warframe clan had some of the most dedicated and skilled female members ive seen in years and some even taught me a few tricks that have saved me a few times. But dont all put us in the same basket as a gender. There is a striking difference between men and boys like those you mention.

I remember hearing that the average age for males harassing females over online play was 14/15. I can't think of any situation where a 14/15 year old was regarded as emotionally/mentally representative of an entire gender.

My gamer tag is my username here. Shoot me a message some evening when you need the raid, and I'll get my group together. We're all older guys (mid 20 ' to 30's), so you won't have to worry about getting kicked or drooled on. We run 31's through fairly regularly, so no issues with your level.

They probably assume that you're a squeaker and that's probably why they kick you. (Or that happened to me a few times) I got used to the fact that whenever someone is talking to me they refer to me as a he/him, but only friends correct them saying I'm a girl because after awhile you don't really care because since when does gender decide how good you are.

I get the usual from dudes; messages, shady reasons for party invites, spam, messages, threats, spam, spam, threats, and "Hey bby" as I killstreak the whole lobby. Frustrating seeing at least a half dozen sexual messages when I log in. It's funny people will boot me from whatever because of such a idiotic reason, my K/D is Division 1 in [i]PvE and PvP[/i]. Last match was 56-1, death by teammate slingshot.

Used to play [url=http://www.wikipedia.org/wiki/Godwin%27s_law]-godwinslaw!-[/url] Zombies a lot. Best teammates were women. Gender doesn't affect ones ability to play a video game comrade.
