Having bought IB from Xur yesterday surely makes me a Christmas noob? Even though I had the game pre-ordered (limited edition) Months before it came out and played since day 1! Ive taken the time to collect every single dead ghost and there's maybe 1 or 2 gold chests I haven't collected. Obviously because I had to grind strikes, hoping to get blue engrams, that I hoped would be my last 2 strange coins, so I could afford this rifle that everyone shout about, surely this means I don't deserve it? I apologise to everyone that has been playing for a long as I have, and probably in some cases, less than I have. Who were given it for free. Obviously you guys earned it, and us noobs didn't. I can only portray my heartfelt regret in trying to better myself in this way, I'm sorry, I realise that buying thing isn't big, and it certainly isn't clever. I must remember this next time I go shopping......... Anyone who understands sarcasm will realise I'm taking the piss! I got Gjallahorn, Truth, Mida Multitool all on drops, Bought suros regime (my first one) and the rest are from exotic bounties. Ive heard of atleast 2 people getting Ice Breaker from Iron Banner this week. Is the game Broken? no! Crota's End Hard comes out next week, Bungie obviously feel we're are gonna need IB for that? And what's wrong with Christmas noobs, these games aren't cheap, If you're experienced you should be showing them the ropes, not casting them out! This game is built around "COMMUNITY". The forums, the raids, its all about people coming together. surely seeing other people with good gear is a good thing, mean they can maybe watch your back better when you're going for that swordbearer! How many people have been told they cant join in a raid because they don't have the right gear? Now they have, be grateful they're with you. Its a team effort, Solo Rambo missions are for the movies! This is a community, get involved and welcome everyone and everything. We all have a part to play. For the record, I hope this rifle gets better, I think its shit! If you're upset that you cant show off because everyone else has that rare gun that you have, you seriously need to sit down, re assess your priorities and strongly reconsider what direction your life is going in.
